I'm re-evaluating this APP. Comparing to what Marketplace BOLD offered. The past week was pretty rough but after my recent complains on the review Multi Vendor Marketplace send a more professional staff "Pratik Kumar" and he solved most of the issue in less than 30mins.
Comparing APP.. I like to use Shopify because in the long run for a staff like me.. Even company decided to fire you.. The company still under your partnership referral.
Multi Vendor plenty of features and functions but the company is all based about profits. Even to get a client website to look standardized or sync with theme will have to pay the extra customizing charges. Which are adding a few CSS and creating DIV. Add to that we are paying you monthly fee for using your APP. When i can go to https://multimerch.com/pricing/ and pay a fix amount for a cheaper cost.
Before you can even market your APP you're trying to rob your clients.. Good idea for marketing.. No wonder too many APP company out there never make it. Shopify is not some Envato, WP or Opencart platform.
Shopify is for you earn as a APP building for long term. Monthly getting paid consistantly. Not a one time off fee and it's over. Do you think charging your clients just to get the client page to sync with the theme is adviceable? This is where you lose out.. I rather go Multimerc or Marketplace since they do everything for me to even help me with sync the theme together. Why? Because they want me to be their client for many years to come.
Good app with lots of features to facilitate our needs to run multivendor marketplace. Great customer service.

Horrible time consuming experience. So disappointed in this app. I spent several days back and forth with tech support to no AVAIL.
The cost is ridiculous.. They charge for additional apps upwards $40 per month added on to your initial monthly fee and don't even have tutorials to assist you with the coding. All they have is a bunch of links that don't help with installation!! I'm DISGUSTED! STAY FAR AWAY!!! You have to pay for so many add-ons. This app by Webkul is a TOTAL rip-off.
Go to FIVERR and hire a developer to assist you with creating a marketplace. May cost you a few hundred, but trust me you will SAVE money, time and energy in the long run.

My initial 1 star rating was a bit impetuous because in "my personal" opinion they didn't explain things clear enough, mainly the app on its own does NOT sync with any apps, which it seems to claim in BOLD letters, Shopify or otherwise. If you want to Sync with Shopify stores it's an extra $40, if you also want to sync with WooCommerce stores it's another $25, etc... The app does somethings well, I particularly like the sellers page for what I'm trying to do. The part where I find the app falls short is the manual creation of inventory items, it's a bit clumsy and I think there should be a greater emphasis on making the guest-sellers items fit into the host MVM shop instead what it seems like a pararllel inventory organization, for example I think it would make more sense to be able to use "product types" and "product tags" from the host store (MVM) instead of having to enter new ones in MVM.
I would like to point out there customer service is very responsive, they should get credit for that.

Very bad documentaton and the claims about translation not work or atleast unable to figure how. My login registration page is still not translated.
Beside that the design is ugly and no way to implement it properly into shopify
I left a one star review on this app after failing to get any support from the developer and being of the opinion that it caused my store to crash. I then received emails from the developer asking me to contact them and saying they wanted to investigate. They denied it crashed my store. So I reinstalled and spent 8 hours setting up vendors again. While doing so I ren into many issues and sent emails to support. I have waited all day and again no response. The biggest problem is the app is sending out endless emails to vendors and customers. Most of the emails make no sense for our business model and I can't see how to stop them. Not surprisingly the app charges for sending emails. It is also full of random weirdness like if an order goes to there vendors for €50 including postage where each vendor gets say €20/€20/€10 then if postage is €10 it also splits that income between the vendors in the ratio 2/2/1. There is no logic to that - when is postage ever a fraction of the product cost? There are also problems with it failing to import products from Shopify, issues with images (they also seem to charge for storing images) and many more issues. For €45 a month this is a poor app with no support.

App does not install all the software correctly. When you ask for support they say read the guides. However the guide only shows things if the app works correctly. If the app is missing functions these guides do nothing to help. When you explain this to support, they send the link back to a guide again. Support needs to actual listen to the issue.

Avoid this company at all costs. Their instructions are gibberish, and their support team doesn’t give two licks about you.
Hi, Thank you for the feedback. But we would have appreciated it more if the same has been provided for Multivendor App, not the feedback for other apps on multivendor app.
We would like to address some of the points mentioned in the review :

>> I think there is some misunderstanding in the same, the custom work was way too much as you mentioned "really simple custom job". The custom work included building an auction type which included penny auction functionality with the token use for the customer. This included heavy custom work to be done.
2) Took them almost 2 weeks to do the 20 minutes of works to tell me how much the custom job would cost, and that’s what they tell me.
The support team has been quite responsive in discussing the custom work with you. While doing any custom work in the running application, it takes time to decide how to accommodate it within the running app, so that it wont hinder the apps current features. And on 27th August you emailed us first time and on 3rd September the pricing was given, which is 8 days (including weekends) and certainly not 2 weeks as mentioned.

We do value all our customers, including you and that reflects in the positive feedback that we have received from our clients. We believe in providing best of support and point by point guidelines to the customers that would help them understand the app and its features.

My rating is based on few day trial period. I am not reviewing app functionality once it is opened for business. Main reason for leaving 3 stars is due to the fact that there were errors in Sellers profile page. I hade to take number of screenshots for them to fixt it. Truthfully, as I was testing PRO plan and this should not happen. From shop owner point of view, the last thing you want is to waste your time finding errors and sending screenshots. They were happy to fix those errors, but they should not been there in the first place. This is a basic level and I would advise you to improve this. I found customer service to be helpful. Replied reasonably quickly and helped with my enquiries. Also expect to deal with coding. They helped with adding/removing codes to install the app, so that is great. There were few things I was not ok how they were displayed on Sellers page, for example some of Search and Filter boxes were different sizes and it just did not look nice and it looked cheap. For that I got answer I would need to change codes myself or pay them extra. I general, it looks like you can achieve a lot with this app as there are a lot of functions. Expect to pay more than the PRO advertised price as if you are looking for a full marketplace you will need to add their other apps and there is an additional charge for that. Again, i can only say about my experience while i was testing the app.

Let me address the points one by one :
1) Seller Profile Page - There are ample of themes available on the store, so there can be a possibility that the seller profile page might not work well with some of the themes, but that is not an issue, this is something that is due to the variations in the theme developed by different developers. And few of the issue was on ipad were taken care of very soon.
2) Apart from that there were no errors reported, all that you require was some changes on the page, and for that the team has told that about code for the page and you could do on your own.
3) All the basic marketplace feature is included in the app, but if you need some high end features, then feature app is needed. We can easily increase the app pricing and can add all the add-on features as mandatory part of the package, but we have kept the app pricing as low as feasible and have provided easy plug and play options, so you only pay for the feature you are using, not for some high end package, which is of no use to you.
