UPDATE August 13, 2020: One week later and Ella still didn't fix the problem. However, the Deputy CEO emailed me and said he'll get someone else today to assist me. He gave me Suzan. It took Suzan 20 MINUTES TO FIX THE ISSUE TODAY. I'm happy with Suzan's help. The problem is finally fixed thanks to Suzan. If you ever need support, don't ask for Ella. Ella said it takes her hours of her life to fix the problem whereas Suzan fixed it in 20 minutes! Ask for Suzan! Thank you!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE REP IGNORES YOUR REQUEST FOR SUPPORT AND LIES TO YOU. I used this app to help me translate my website. I did not like how the widget blocked words on my website so I reached out to ELLA from GTranslate for support. I chatted with Ella and asked her to fix the problem. She ignored my request for assistance. So I reached out again for help. Ella THEN responded to me and asked for my permission to collaborate. I gave her access and waited. One hour goes by, NOTHING. 3 HOURS GO BY AND NOTHING WAS DONE. I asked her what is taking so long. She said she's fixing it and I should just keep waiting. So I logged into my shopify dashboard settings and looked at the activity log for the collaborator account. THERE HAD BEEN NO ACTIVITY SINCE 11:30AM. It was 5:30PM. So THE WHOLE DAY, ELLA WAS LYING AND LEADING ME TO THINK THAT SHE WAS FIXING IT BUT SHE DID'NT DO ANYTHING. THE WIDGET IS STILL BLOCKING WORDS ON MY SITE. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! RUN AWAY FROM THIS APP!
It changes the price form. to, when I use french. it keeps freaks my client out. any combine with auto currency switch also bugged

Review after 3 months: The app concept is good. If you have a basic store this can be a good option. However, be ready to face some issues and be patient to get everything fixed. The support team is good at fixing those issues, but you'll need to be patient as it will take time. My advise is to fully test your store and make sure everything works before going live with the translated versions. If you use 3rd party apps you'll most probably need some tweaks.
Fantastic app. Maybe for a future, the option to translate pages on a folder instead of a subdomain in Shopify will be appreciated. Arshak solved all the problems. Good support team.
An automatic translator is not the best, but if you select the words well, you can get an acceptable translation in different languages. But for a free version, it's a good solution.
I used this app for the translation from english to french. The automatic translation is good, I only had to correct few expressions. The interface is userfriendly. And the customer care service is Great! I had issue putting the selector on the new theme, and Ripa provide a great service.
A must app for nowadays. Promises what i does although it has some issues. Luckily the support team is always available (thanks Borya for your help)
Thanks so much for the great 5-star support Milena when I was having some difficulty getting it working again after changing domain names! I like this app a lot (paid version). I wish the app had the option for sub-directory in shopify instead of just sub-domain, as the internal language options for shopify uses sub-directory and that can be tracked easier on some external apps (that's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5!)
So far, GTranslate seems to be a better automatic translator than other apps I've used, and it translates URLs too! CSR Seda was very helpful in steering me through the complications associated with trying to create and cancel an account from their website before working from within Shopify. Don't make the same mistake as I did - even though the setup options on the GTranslate website seem to allow for a Shopify install, it doesn't work - do it from the Shopify dashboard. HB
