Absolutely top! The Kickflip app opens up completely new opportunities and new markets for my company. Super great functions, a modern interface and above all, and I would like to emphasize this in particular: first-class support and a super great team. The Kickflip team helps with all questions and problems very quickly and very competently! I have rarely experienced such great support these days. Please keep it up, dear Kickflip team. I will gladly recommend you to others! If I could, I would give 10 stars!!

Starting with the good: a beautiful and really simple to use interface, both on the builder end and consumer end, well done on that.

But we're now facing several issues which are making it now impossible to continue using this app.

1) Inventory management: not linked to Shopify, making it a nightmare to update and know when we're out of stock. Especially with 2 warehouse Locations.

2) The app does not apply your store's Market pricing. So if you're having certain market's with a price % adjustment set up in your Market settings on Shopify, Kickflip will ignore that, resulting in incorrect prices displayed before adding to cart.

3) The tipping point for us and worst part: Customers can place an order on out of stock SKUs if they add to cart days or even weeks before you are out of stock. This resulted in many losses, refunds and annoyed customers.

4) Lastly, pricing. It's good if you're starting up, but not fair / too high if you want to scale up for the limited feature they offer.

Overall, really disappointed as we thought we found a great app. Still a lot of work to do.

Concerning inventory management, please note that this feature is still in beta and we are actively working to enhance it, informed by valuable user feedback like yours. Currently, due to Shopify’s 100-variant limit and the inability to share inventory between variants, stock management is handled on Kickflip’s side. The good news is that Shopify recently announced an increase in the variant limit to 2000 and we have already begun preparations to align with this update. This will include connecting with Shopify SKUs and supporting weights. Rest assured, significant improvements are on the way.

We also sincerely apologize for the challenges you’ve faced with market pricing and out-of-stock management. While we are working on permanent fixes, if you contact our customer support team, we can revert your account to a previous version of our Shopify integration, which should resolve these issues immediately.

Finally, we’ll soon be launching a new, more flexible pricing structure designed to support your growth as you expand your sales with us. This will ensure that you can continue scaling affordably and get even more value from our platform.

I have checked many simiillar app which is not even close to kickflip. Easy and use with full possibilities. Great support. Congratulations guys. Great product.

I haven't had a chance to sell anything as of writing this review, however compared to the other customisers this is the easiest to use (yes there's always a learning curve), and the customer support is pretty damn good. All of my questions have been answered and 99% have been solved without coding on my part.

There are some things that could be refined such as the mobile functionality/ease of use especially with customer editable photos but i believe this is something that's being worked on.

Kickflip truly sets itself apart from other customizer add-ons for Shopify in its ability to allow custom fields to directly affect product prices, such as for custom logos, text, etc. If your brand/company is looking to create an online store where customization is a key feature and you want to be able to adjust a product's price based on however many additional features a customer wants for it, Kickflip is the absolute best option as it currently stands.

Kickflip was the exact customization tool we were looking for. It’s very straightforward from start to finish. If I got stuck at any point, the chat feature was convenient to use and received quick and detailed responses from a real person to continue building our product. As a small business, the payment structure is also ideal as it eliminates the risk by only charging when we make a sale, as opposed to committing to a big monthly or annual fee. High recommend kickflip!

The front-end design is impressive compared to other apps, and it was the main reason I decided to try it out. However, in my opinion, the app is not yet ready for established businesses to rely on, as the back end needs further development. I wish the team all the best moving forward, but I hope to save others in my position some valuable time if they are under the impression that this app will be quick and easy to use.

There is a 3-4 week wait for open support tickets. While the live customer service is great, if you encounter an issue beyond what they can assist with, be prepared to wait an unreasonable amount of time. I am choosing to move on to another app rather than waiting.

Please ensure that your theme works directly with the app before investing time in setting everything up, as I did. You may encounter issues down the road. I had the impression this was an out-of-the-box solution, but that was not the case for my very popular and common theme. If your theme is not compatible, they will refer you to a partner for paid development work.

The instructions for uninstalling the app are somewhat complicated, and not really suited for those without a strong grasp of Shopify, in my opinion. I hope to get around to it soon. If you’re like me and working around the clock, be aware that this cleanup process can be time-consuming if you choose not to continue using the app.

Additionally, when you uninstall the app, any products you added through it will also be deleted.

We've been using this app to set up a custom made clothing item. The whole process has taken weeks a lot of cash invested in 3D models. That makes the whole limitation I'm about the describe even more frustrating. 

When products are created as variations they are SKU-less. That means if your using an IMS or shipping app to process orders after checkout (one that requires a SKU like many do) you're not going to have much luck. Lesser custom apps often give you options. Either replicate the source SKU for each variant or even add numbers sequentially. We use a few of them successfully already. These small but essential function really show when an app that has considered the backend needs of merchants. Kickflip has a heavy focus on front end UI and that's great since it's key for the product, but the backend is not really suitable for any business of scale.  The response from support for this issue was "this is eye opening and we appreciate it. However, unfortunately, it is not possible to do this." Well...thanks.

We're currently unsure if, even after our investment we can make this app worth for us logistically. I suspect we'll try it and manually link products to orders in the short term but it's very disappointing when a simple code change to variant generation would have solved this. 5 stars for ambition. 2 for implementation on Shopify.

Response to Kickflip's response: We want to be clear this is NOT feedback on variants linked to inventory level. All our SKUs are made to order anyway. This is simply the manner with which new variants created in Shopify by the app have no SKU given to them when they hit the checkout. This is a simple API/App fix (other apps can generate this kind of variants) and not a complex feature we're discussing here. This is the second time your team haven't quite understood the issue we've raised so perhaps we're not being clear enough. However, it seems based on your response that nothing is in the pipeline.

Regarding our inventory management feature, it’s important to note that it is currently in beta and might not cover all your requirements at the moment.

The current limitation comes from the way we manage inventory due to constraints with Shopify’s variant limit and the fact that stocks cannot be shared between different variants. This has led us to handle all inventory management within Kickflip’s admin. We understand that this isn’t ideal for your use case.
