We are obsessed with customer experience in the cart, discounts, GWP (gift with purchase) and BOGO upsell/cross-sell offers. Over the years, we have built or commissioned or contracted numerous solutions, and all solutions require multiple tools or apps to play nicely together.
Before Dynamatic, I was using Rebuy for merchandising (popup, display on page) then Discount Ninja for pricing. It was complicated. LOTS of moving parts, and lots of things that could and did go wrong, usually in the middle of a sale or promotion.
When I learned of Dynamatic, a few important features sucked me in...
1. Using Shopify Functions for the discounting engine. This permits discounts to combine (or not) and allow shopify discounts to stack (or not). Functions permit a non-plus store to have the functionality of plus.
2. Flexibility. The building block model of campaigns > experience audience > widget is INSANELY powerful. Use what you need, when you want it.
3. Here are some of the promos (widgets) I am using:
a) Buy X, get a popop, offer Y at a discount PRE CART
b) Buy X, get Z free (automatically) - remove Z if customer removes X;
c) Gift with minimum spend. Remove gift if spend falls below tier;
d) Buy More, Save More -- multiple tiers!
e) Parse Shopify shareable discounts and combine/do not combine, whatever you want to do.
f) Show/hide discount input field based on audience (who) or actions of visitor;
g) There is SO MUCH MORE
I am using functions/widgets I want to use, but there is much more in this app. Much much more.
The development team and support has been top-tier. I have been a fierce "challenge" throughout onboarding. They have risen to my needs every time.
Dynamatic is insanely powerful. I will say not for everyone.
If you have looked at or used Rebuy and/or other discounting apps, you will find Dynamatic a breath of fresh air.
This app is a game-changer for my store - but let me tell you about their support team—absolute rockstars! I had a major issue that could’ve cost me thousands in lost revenue, and Marc came through in the clutch. On a HOLIDAY, no less! Who does that?! Something that's been challenging to deal with on Shopify is application bloat. We store owners end up needing a different app for everything. What I love about dynamatic is the number of features it consolidates down into one app with reasonable pricing NOT based on revenue. If you're looking for a customizable cart, upsells, post-purchase offers, and a bout a dozen other things (or more) I'd recommend this app instead of needing 5-6 other apps to accomplish the same thing. Plus their support is really responsive and they jump in to fix issues quickly. Love it!

Migrated from Rebuy, support has been much more responsive, speed at which the team here develop features is incredibly fast. Definetly a must have for any serioues eCommerce store.
