This is a real app developed by people who understand and appreciate the retailer. We used to use Route for a brief period which was a waste of our valuable dollars. Route keeps all monies made plus they charge you a fortune on top of that. A total joke. Navidium provides an affordable logical solution to insurance where YOU the retailer get to keep the money you make off of each order and then allocate funds as needed when you have a claim. The people behind this company are incredible and CARE about your and our experience. Highly recommend!
I highly recommend this app because it's best for both parties in a transaction. The business is covered, and the customer isn't waiting an outrageous 30+ days for resolution of their lost/stolen/damaged goods.
I used other protection apps and they did nothing but enrage customers with how long it would take to resolve cases, which is stressful for the store and customers.
We switched from Route... Why pay another company tons of money and redirect our customers to their app/team? It was a broken experience and one we found that route was not accepting claims and leaving customers with a bad taste in their mouth.
Navidium put the entire experience back into our hands with a better experience for our customers and for us to recover costs and sometimes more when a shipment goes wrong or is stolen.
I would 100% suggest companies go this route for the customer experience alone, and the benefit of a managing your own claims and not having a company your paying a ton of money too to simply decline them.
Best shipping protection service out there, I have used competitors products but they slow down your time to help the customer (which matters the most) navidiium lets you handle the service its the best!
Have been using this app for a short while (around 2-3 months) but am very happy with it compared to some other "options".... their support is good, the product itself is great and our customers have liked having the option. Glad I found this and will be continuing to use this and leverage this app for the foreseeable future.
I wish i knew about this app earlier! I found this app through a friend and It has helped saved us quite a bit of money right from the start. The team was great and accommodating to install the app on all of our stores and supported it throughout multiple themes.
If we ever had a bug or problem, they would be right on top of it and take care of things. They went above and beyond for us and we are truly grateful for this wonderful app they have created! Thank you!
Navidium has been a complete lifesaver for us after dealing with the problematic Route app. Navidium gives us more flexibility to price our shipping protection and allows us to further elevate of brand's trust with our customers by allowing us to private label the shipping protection with "our" company's name, opposed to marketing another company's name like Route.

Ohhhh buddy...I feel at home when I read through some of these other reviews talking about other merchants who switched from other shipping protection services (I won't name names but...*cough cough* Route *cough*). We used this other company for probably just about a year before we switched over to Navidium because they kept trying to nickel and dime us. But more than anything, they pushed and pushed for us to make their shipping protection automatically set to "opt-out" only meaning customers would automatically be paying extra $$ unless otherwise specified. They also wouldn't let us adjust the amount that was charged for protection. Since we sell high-priced products already and have a really unique culture, we didn't want that because we didn't want people to feel like they were being overcharged. This other company kept harping on us -- and to sweeten the deal, they finally said that they were going to start charging us for their "marketing" features, which we didn't need or use.
Enter: Naviduium. The cost was hard to swallow at first since we are on Shopify Plus and would have to go from paying $0 with our current company to $100 with Navidium. THAT BEING SAID: Looking back, it was an absolute no-brainer to make the switch. Every month, we bring in enough revenue for shipping protection to cover the cost of the subscription, PLUS have $1000+ leftover to cover issues with shipping. To sweeten the deal a little more, I am not constantly pressured to adjust my settings and contacted by "sales bros" to give them more of our money.
The ironic thing is that since we have more capability to tweak the settings and set our own protection rates, we are actually "opt-out" now and haven't heard any complaints about it from our customers. Sorry, not sorry "other company".
I consider myself a loyal subscriber to Navidium and we will likely use them for the foreseeable future, especially since they keep coming out with new updates and features that are really awesome.

Highly recommend it rather than using something like Route. A lot easier to use, and the customer service team is extremely helpful and very responsive.
We’ve been using Navidium for a few months and have had a very positive experience! Easy installation and I don’t have to deal with a third party claim filing middle man. Absolutely worth it!
