Shocking support and they cancel for no reason useless app do not use very dissapointed stay away other apps so much better

Any time an order is cancelled due to risk concerns, NoFraud shares detailed information to help merchants understand why the cancellation occurred. In this particular situation, the order was cancelled due to several risk factors including being placed on a high-risk device and the card issuing bank country did not match the billing country.
Regarding auto cancellation, the NoFraud platform is the most powerful, flexible eCommerce fraud prevention platform in the world allowing merchants to tailor their process and even customize specific rules that make sense for their business. You can disable this auto-cancellation feature at any point.
Lastly, regarding NoFraud support, the team did reach out to you within one hour of receiving your support request. If we do not have the right email for you, please let us know at support@nofraud.com. We strive to provide the best experience for all our merchants, even when we need to share negative order outcomes.
This app is highly unreliable for tracking fraudulent orders. It often approves fraudulent orders and its screening process lacks coherence. We've encountered numerous chargebacks from orders greenlit by them. Their lack of accountability is concerning—they don't take responsibility for their mistakes. It's puzzling how a company named "No Fraud" struggles to properly screen fraudulent orders.

Thank you for your review. We understand how frustrating it is to receive a chargeback, especially when you are actively working with fraud prevention software. While NoFraud is extremely effective in identifying and blocking fraudulent orders, there is no fraud solution that is 100% effective, including NoFraud. Some examples of orders we would greenlight but will result in a fraud chargeback are below:
- A chargeback from a transaction that was made by the cardholder, yet the customer does not want to pay for the item and will submit a fraud chargeback. This is also known as friendly fraud. This is the main category of fraud chargebacks that we see. These types of chargebacks can usually be won with an effective dispute, and disputing all chargebacks is a service we currently offer.
- First time fraudsters: The first time a fraudster commits fraud, they have a clean history and appear legitimate, especially when they are just starting out and do not act like a typical fraudster trying to cover their tracks.
It is for this reason that one of the solutions we offer includes a chargeback guarantee, which would guarantee our decisions and reimburse you in the case you receive a chargeback. Many of our customers take advantage of this offering and appreciate that they never have to worry about friendly fraudsters, or hard to detect fraud that we may have missed. Unfortunately, your current package does not include the Chargeback Guarantee.
We are sorry if this was confusing and we are committed to making it right. On that note, we want to reassure you that the device JavaScript tag added to your site as part of the default Shopify app installation process is used only to gather the device information necessary to ensure accurate NoFraud Screening—not customer PII. Device information is an effective indicator of fraud and greatly improves the accuracy of decisions for transactions.
We completely understand that each merchant’s situation is unique and that having control over where JavaScript tags appear on your site matters. While NoFraud does require merchants to place our device JavaScript tag on their sites for accurate fraud screening, some merchants choose to limit placement to a location or locations where they can be sure it will load at least once for each customer completing a purchase, typically the cart and/or checkout page. We recommend placing the script towards the bottom of your element or in your site's element. You can read more about it in the NoFraud Help Center (https://helpcenter.nofraud.com/hc/en-us/articles/360060395191-Device-Javascript).
With the device JavaScript tag present in a place it will load at least once for each customer completing a purchase, it can be safely removed from any other pages where you would not like it to be present. NoFraud Support (support@nofraud.com) is more than happy to help you through this process and talk through any other questions to get you up and running with our fraud protection in a way that works for you.

This app does not even work after installation. I keep getting this error when signing up for an account: You had some validation errors Phone Number is invalid
There's not even any option to input a phone number during registration, so I can't even set up an account. What a waste of time

This is a nice app, has been helpful in detecting and giving us the risk associated with every order.
So far we like the app. We are not generating enough to pay 250 a month. but when we hit a certain mark per month we will upgrade our service.
This app doesn't apply to small businesses. You wouldn't know that unless you install the app and try to enable the chargeback feature. (NoFraud requires a minimum of $50,000 in monthly processing volume for chargeback protection eligibility.) This equals out to $600,000.00 annually. I think this information should be available before people install your app.

It's extremely thorough, probably the best anti fraud app out there. Wish Shopify built it into their own software, since they're the payment processor but here we are.
Highly recommend NoFraud to any eCommerce store! Our fraudulent orders have significantly decreased since adding NoFraud to our store. The app integration was super easy and our rep, Hannah has been absolutely wonderful with helping us navigate. I have nothing but positive things to say about NoFraud!

I was scammed out of $6000 even though Shopify showed the transaction as low risk. I shipped the merchandise and a couple of weeks later, received a charge back. Before that, I would have the occasional charge back that were usually less than $100. I have been using NoFraud for 2 and a half years now. I never have to worry about fraudulent charges again. I have never had a chargeback since I started using NoFraud. Good job!
As a small business fraud is a huge factor in our bottom line. NoFraud helped us screen fraudulent orders without making it a huge hassle at the most important part of the eCommerce process which is the checkout. We have been completely satisfied with the ease of use and the screening process used. It has helped us keep the bad guys at bay and let the valid orders through without hassle! Update:
The Business Development Manager reached out to assist. The customer service was a great experience, however, I don't see the value of $50 when I can get the same for $10. That is the reason why I don't go above 3 stars for this app.

Thank you for your review. Let's address each part of your feedback:
1. Payment: For most customers, NoFraud uses a replenish billing system, where you fund your account with a defined billing increment and your usage is deducted from your account balance once the day is over. You control the refill amount and the funds always belong to you. All this is clearly laid out in the Rate Agreement you signed as well as the Billing tab within the NoFraud portal, where you can edit your refill amount, view your daily usage, download statements or request a payout of funds. You have uninstalled our app and the remaining balance was refunded back to you, which you will see as a credit on your Shopify statement.
Of course, customer support is available 24/7 so any questions on billing can always be answered via phone, email, our Knowledge Base and live chat.
2. Difference between the NoFraud and Shopify fraud analysis: We did a deep dive on your data to see if, in fact, NoFraud had the same fraud analysis as Shopify. Here is what we found:
-There was a difference in analysis in 4.5% of all transactions screened.
-3% of your transactions were flagged as Medium risk by Shopify, 92% were flagged as Pass by NoFraud
-2% of transactions were flagged as high risk by Shopify, we agreed with the decision 56% of the time. 44% of transactions that Shopify marked as High Risk we validated, in line with our goal of increasing your order approval rate.
-There was one transaction we flagged as fail that Shopify flagged as low risk. A member of our analyst team reviewed that transaction and confirmed it is fraudulent. The primary reasons were IP risk, use of an email with no history and most importantly, the order was shipping to a known fraudulent address.
Conclusion:
-There are many major differences between the NoFraud and Shopify fraud analysis

Their rates are half of the last company I was using and I've never had an issue with a claim. I'd recommend to try them out and get a quote for their chargeback protection.

The team at NoFraud are amazing. They have been a strong partner against the fraudsters. Right before we signed up we were hit with several thousand dollars of Mule Fraud. The addition of this app has definitely saved us money. Worth every penny. I would totally recommend them.
This is a very bad app. Installing this app makes your website very slow. We have uninstalled this app, yet a lot of its code is present in our theme which has not been deleted. We had emailed him for this but we have not received any reply. VERY VERY VERY BAD!!

We'd like to address all three of your concerns:
1. Site Speed: NoFraud audits the effect of its app on site speed at least weekly. Our latest audit revealed that it takes an average of 40 milliseconds (that is 0.04 seconds) to load our JS script, and that is while other parts of your site are loading at the same time. Meaning, NoFraud does not add a noticeable effect on site loading time. We have had the rare occurrence of a JS script conflict, which was quickly and easily resolved when the customer reached out to our support team. We have not received any support tickets from you while the app was installed.
2. Leftover code: The only code NoFraud installs on your site is a JS script, which is removed when you uninstall the app. We confirmed by looking at the source code of your site - the NoFraud JS Script is no longer there. You had communicated with a team member this afternoon, asking for the NoFraud notes to be removed from your order history, as you thought those notes can potentially slow your site down. When an app is installed, Shopify does not remove any notes in the orders page, as they may be needed for future reference. Your Shopify interface and website are two different websites and notes on a Shopify order will not impact your website's site speed.
3. Support: Our support team is quick to respond to customer inquiries, as evidenced in the other reviews from existing customers. You had reached out to NoFraud via Shopify support Saturday afternoon and left this review Sunday morning. All requests via our helpdesk are answered immediately during business hours. On weekends, any urgent helpdesk ticket is routed to support for immediate resolution. There is no escalation option when you email NoFraud via Shopify. We reached out Sunday evening, asking for more information so we can troubleshoot on your behalf.

I ran Signifyd and NoFraud at the same time. My approval rate with Signifyd (Revenue) was 90.91%. The approval rate (Revenue) with NoFraud - 97.2%. Switching to NoFraud is a no-brainer.
do not use this company. took $550 from my account out of the blue. even if you get hit with a fraud case and win all they do is give you credit for service. which means you still take on all the risk. this company should change name to BigFraud. you have no control over what orders you want or dont want protection. so that means you will pay extra for paypal for no reason. customer service is a joke, 1 person show named tracy.
Thank you for your review. As part of its service NoFraud will reimburse its customers for fraudulent chargebacks and dispute them on our customers' behalf. When NoFraud wins a chargeback on its customers' behalf, that reimbursement is reversed, which is why you were billed $550 as there was no financial loss. Reimbursements are provided in the form of credit, ACH or check. To exclude Paypal orders from NoFraud screening, a customer can exclude those transactions from screening within the NoFraud portal.

Straight up if it wasn't for no fraud my store would have been shut down long ago due to chargebacks from fraudulent charges. Best solution out there, super helpful team.
I haven't had a fraudulent order in months and I am happy about that. Now we just cancel any order that the app says is fraudulent. We don't deal with the headache.

Great at working together to come up with the best strategy and rules to stop fraud at a higher scale than relying on shopify's fraud prevention whether that is through flow or any other fraud controlled app, overall it maximizes your orders without damaging ones that you may think are high risk when in actual fact shopify should be marking them as low.
This app has helped us tremendously by catching, canceling and refunding the fraudulent orders before they make it to our fulfillment center console. We are very pleased with NoFraud!

so far above and beyond im having a fraud outbreak from chicago with multiple attackers. so far they've saved me over a thousand dollars and more to come im sure. all this within my first week, good lord.
Switched to NoFraud from another large competitor. We're saving time, money, but best of all is their acceptance rate which we find to be a significant improvement. We can truly trust that if NoFraud says it isn't good, that it probably isn't! Very happy with the service.
Have had this service now for a short while and I have noticed a significant difference. This is probably by far the best service to use for credit card fraud protection. I signed up with Signifyd a while back which was proven to be a complete joke, and absolutely useless. Nofraud goes far and beyond to protect you from fraudsters. I wish I had found them much sooner.
I believe this app is so valuable because it works, it has a very strong AI which is different than the others. This app can catch fraud others can't. Although some others provide money back if a fraud-person / criminal steals from your website and steals from other IDs, this app prevents the headache from happening in the first place. It's always better to maintain a good record and not entertain, wasted time from fraudsters. Go with this app, it's worth it.
They were able to win us over with there support and also competitive pricing there competitor couldn't match there pricing so we went with NoFraud.

Just installed this--and No Fraud stopped a cc transaction within an hour of installing the app.. I am in the trial period--but must say that this app is one of the best. A must have for any store. I am VERY satisfied with the app. Alot less worry on chargebacks--what a relief! Its been 2 weeks and if this had a ten star rating system, i would give it a 15. This is a must for any business-this app is by far the best and it has picked up all high risk orders that were placed on my store. These guys are a lifesaver!
8/19/17 UPDATE- I had orders prior to installing this app. ALL came back as chargebacks-all were green checked thru shopify as good to go--over $3500 in chargebacks. Shopify only has limited processing for orders--do yourself and your business a HUGE favor and get this app. It is very stressful dealing with these chargeback orders, because this money comes out of your pocket--protect yourself and get this app.
NoFraud finds the fraudulent transactions with much less false positive than any other system I've tried.
Not all is perfect, but the above is true - and that's what's most important to me.

NoFraud has been excellent in helping us manage fraud (particularly for international orders).
It has been excellent for us as we don't want waste time (and money) dealing with chargebacks.
I would also note that the customer service is exceptional and their team has really helped us.
This app is a lifesaver. especially in niches where the average order size is large(Ours is around $160). On the first month, the app already covered 4 months ahead.

NoFraud saved our butt - we had a fraud attack where we are getting multiple fraud orders everyday. They were great and from day one started taking care of our problem and by end of the week, the fraud stopped. I would highly recommend their service, plus they provide one of the better value in the industry.
We have been using NoFraud on another platform for a while now and this is hands down the best money spent. Orders we would have turned away are approved and already we see a difference in our sales. Once you get a charge-back you are always shy about accepting an order your not sure about but with NoFraud those worries are GONE!!! Plus the person we had checking orders, besides missing things on occasion (human error) is no free to do other things. An EXCELLENT MUST HAVE APP.
Top notch fraud protection - hands off - fully automated. NoFraud is transforming the fraud space. Only pay a small fee when a purchased is made. Learned about them from an article in Internet Retailer a few months ago and they finally have a Shopify APP. Excellent support, definitely recommend.
