Important limitation for events-based businesses
I run an events company, and my products require long-form content to sell (context, story, details). Because of this, I don’t use product pages, collections, or catalog layouts. I sell exclusively through Featured Products embedded on content pages.
This app’s “Notify Me” button only appears on product pages or featured collections, not on Featured Products. Even after support helped enable it for featured collections, the button still does not appear on featured products.
For businesses like mine, this is a major limitation. Visitors who land on content pages never see the “Notify Me” option when events are sold out—unless they click into the product page, which defeats the purpose.
As a result, I would still need to hire a developer or edit code manually to achieve basic functionality which I don't know.
Warning to other users:
If you sell specialised events, experiences, or content-driven products and rely on Featured Products (not catalog or collections), this app currently does not fully support that use case.
I hope the app team can improve this by enabling “Notify Me” buttons on Featured Products as well, which would make it far more useful for event-based and experience-based businesses.
