Octane AI: Advanced Quiz Maker

Octane AI has been number one for a long time for a reason. The logic just works for the Shopify-oriented brain (and store). I had a few questions about how to best achieve what I was looking for and Ariel from the support team was fantastic in helping me. He took my quiz, provided suggestions, and offered a white glove experience. The follow up and follow through of this support team (Ivana as well followed up from a different chat) is super impressive. Use them as a resource for sure!

App looks great onsite and the customer support (Ivana) was very helpful and responsive in setting up and testing our quiz. Great customer service/people! The app/tech itself is a little clunky:

1. They use external integrations for all results - it doesn't carry the results emails natively (even the simplest ones that would just send a copy of the results) so for simple alerts to customers and sales teams you need to set up more complicated external app integrations.

2. No way to see customer paths. For more complex sales, it would be helpful to see the exact path each customer took and/or their answer to each question which isn't possible. You can only see the link to their results page which is useful but lacks context, especially for more complex sales where different accessories/upsells could be offered if the sales team was aware of the customer path/answers.

3. Relatively Expensive: for the amount of work that needs to be done to set it up (plus the above limitations) the app is pretty expensive. I honestly didn't do too much research into alternatives so that's on me. Also, I have four brands so rolling this out across four stores would be incredibly expensive if we decide to do it. Right now we are testing to see the ROI.

We look forward to more development on the app that hopefully addresses the technical issues, and perhaps a tiered pricing program for larger companies with multiple stores.

The product is great and easy to use. We've had great success capturing emails and sales with our quizzes. Most importantly, though, the customer support is top-notch. I've been using Octane for several years now. Whenever I have a question or issue, I send over an email, and I get quick, helpful, thorough responses immediately (Ivana and Ariel are part of the support team and have been incredibly helpful always). I highly recommend this great product and service!

The app works wonders in terms of conversion. I had some trouble setting up some parts of the quiz, but Ariel and Ivana were able to help and even set parts of the quiz up for me. They went above and beyond and I was very grateful for their support as I was on a tight deadline right before BFCM.

Although I'm pretty tech savvy, I still don't understand one particular part of the setup, but I am confident if I need help in the future that the Octane AI team will be there. The rest of the setup was relatively easy, I started to see engagement immediately, and revenue increase.

This app is totally worth it. If you are on the fence about installing because of the price, don't be. You will see your return on value. I can't wait to optimize our quiz and explore how to increase conversion even more. Thank you Octane AI!

I have only been impressed with both Octane AI as an app, as well as their incredible customer service.

The integration was seamless, the design set up was straightforward with the CS team always there to support when I did have any questions.

While the whole Octane team has been helpful throughout, Ariel and Ivana in particular have gone above and beyond to support PAWD DRINKS!

Octane has been fantastic! We've been using it for almost a year and have had an excellent experience. Setting it up was a breeze, and building the quiz was both easy and fun. The ongoing support has been flawless—there's always someone available to assist when needed. Special thanks to Ariel for providing quick and efficient help when we needed it most!

I do not suggest this app at all. The customer service is very bad. I made an appointment via zoom, and after 3 days the person in charge told me that she could not help you and she did not know the language in which the questions were written, even though I translated all the questions for her. Then he told me that he did not have time and that he had to go??? They deducted $200 and no one helped, and the company does not have a staff to help. also she same person in meeting and email and chat ? how company like that have one lady to 3 jobs ? and i make 11 questions in Quiz ,she said i suggest reduce to 3-4 questions ?

I'll admit I was skeptical that a quiz would be impactful on our site, and hesitant to commit to the price. Not only has the quiz more than paid for itself, it's brought in a nice additional chunk of revenue for us, as well as added a nice amount of engaged customers to our email list. The quiz was easy to set up, and has so far been very successful. The Octane team has also been engaged in our progress, responsive to all inquiries, and proactive in making suggestions for improvement. It's only been a little over a month, but so far we're very happy with Octane. I've never reviewed a Shopify app before but I was so impressed by Octane's performance I felt compelled to finally do so.

Our experience with Octane has been exceptional, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! Creating our quiz was quite complex, but our account manager Marina has been with us every step of the way. She is absolutely amazing! Every issue or question we had, she promptly addressed with incredible helpfulness and expertise. Thanks to her, the quiz has been a tremendous success on our website, driving significant revenue. We are currently enhancing our quiz with A/B tests, and Marina's support in this process has been invaluable. I am excited to see our statistics improve even further. While there are some technical aspects of Octane that could be refined, they are receptive to feedback and actively support app development.
