The app supports English and Japanese, and that is fine for my audience. But I have customers in several European countries; I’d love to see Dutch, French, German support soon. Aside from that, the UI is intuitive, setup was simple, and it looks clean on our storefront.

So far so great! We're still pretty new to the AI scene and we were pretty hesitant to hosting an AI chat feature on our site given our past experiences and high expectation for customer service, but Omakase has been a really impressive tool in and of itself so far. What really makes this app a five-star for us is the support team behind the app, and the amount of help and investment they have put into making this tool work for us and our unique needs. We cant say enough good things about Phil, Brian, and the whole Omakase crew for bending over backwards to create an AI platform that fits our needs and we can't wait to see how this new feature on our site helps our customers navigate our brand, products, and shopping experience.

Well, let's get straight to the point. The application is good; however, the issue is this: The Omakase app is free, as noted. They let you install and use it. After a while, they contact you, stating that to use certain features, a $19 monthly or $16 yearly payment is required. We find this dishonest; the payment plan feels like a deceptive tactic. Recommendations for the Omakase.ai app: Be honest from day one to remain on the Shopify app store.

You’re absolutely right to expect transparency, but your experience with our app did not deliver that. The timing of your sign-up was unfortunate, since you joined just as we were transitioning from a free beta period into a paid plan, where high-touch customer service is a priority. While many users had been using the app for free for months, your experience felt different because of the sudden switch, and because we did not immediately update the Shopify App Store listing.

That wasn’t our intention, and your review has helped remind us to further center the customer experience. We’re a small team, but feedback like yours helps us get better.
