Omega Instant Search was easy and painless to add to my store. Searches are delivered in under a minute. As a store that's just launched, the dashboard information provided regarding the top search queries and queries with empty results are invaluable.

Love the app. Love the support. Just amazing

Very nice app we have been using on 6 of our shopify stores. Really advances search capabilities and their support team is following up quickly on questions we had. Now we moved to BigCommerce, we unfortunately cannot make use of their search engine anymore since they do not support BigCommerce. We moved away because of our large database (700K+ SKU's) which was not really an issue for Omega, but for Shopify it unfortunately is. Even when leaving the support people were happy to help us with our last questions. If we would have to name one downside, it would be that it is quite expensive, although even on this subject they were cooperative.

Best search app in the market. Must Get!

Simply remarkable! Has a very simplistic interface which makes it quite handy to use. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Update:

The app is still good. But the developers don't use any CDN or provide ample server capacity for the initial script loading. As such first byte and page load times are severely affected. The connect time to APAC is 613ms which is ridiculous.

Would love to use the app but I am finding a trend amongst shopify app developers that don't have adequate backend capcity or architect their delivery for global users and assume everyone is either EU or US.

WOW! Just WOW!

The built in search - would not display correct results if one hit enter and went to search result page. If however one just typed you could find the item. This was due to how my theme worked. Oh and it was slow!

This product though is FAST, finds all items and even shows little pictures int he drop down auto complete results. I have no data yet to affirm improvement or not to sales. However as a user trying to search it is about 100000000% better than the built in theme/shopify search feature.
