App would not print some of the vertical lines on the invoice. It looked bad so I tried to delete the invoice template and start over. Then the system froze up and gave me some sort of funky error message. Very frustrating. App also needs a drag and drop function for setting up templates for those of us who are all thumbs with coding. Currently I am not using the app, but I would like to if these technical issues were resolved.

Used to work great. Now it hangs and refuses to load half the time. What a time waster.

The problem with Shopify getting larger is that they simply don't care when apps that business owners need to run their business no longer works. What good is having Shopify apps when many of them don't even work? And good luck with support on their own product.

doesn't work on safari, have to use chrome to use it. doesn't print labels well, can't bundle labels onto a sheet, it's pretty crap.

Doesn’t work. No support. Horrible. Have asked for help on several occasions. Nothing. DO NOT USE!!!

We have been using this app since we started on shopify 7+ Years ago. It has been overall really great.

Recently (as others have described in reviews) it started being a coin flip of if it would completely crash every time we tried to print multiple orders (literally all its for...)

We spoke to support and they claimed "oh its just you" (reviews seem to show otherwise).

At their insistence we reinstalled the app. Which immediately deleted and lost all of our templates. Every other 3rd party app we have ever used, in the case of reinstall, restoring old templates/settings from app backups was a quick easy request.

I have now been chatting with shopify support for the 3rd time about this issue. This session over an hour. They switch back and forth between insisting that the code is hosted locally within our own shopify code, and that it is somehow magically "only within the app." Refusing to acknowledge that it is possible they have backups to restore from anywhere.

When pressed to show us where the code was within oure store code, they finally admitted it Wasn't there. But then doubled down on it also not being hosted by shopify.

If shopify is running its apps with literally no customer backups that is...unbelievably negligent.

UPDATE:
As the reply says, yes I talked to shopify support. They were more than useless. I had to rebuild my templates from scratch. They told me they would follow up via email to assist me with rebuilding the templates for me. Tried to say they would charge me dev time for it. Then escalated the case... That was a full week ago. No reply at all. Clearly we just rebuilt them entirely on our own cause we need to print orders.

Oh, and the issue is still present in chrome.

I see other reviewers are having similar issues. So it seems to be a thing they dont care to fix. App is not fully functional in firefox as you have to click single orders at a time.

The "current" shopify support that kimi mentions has not responded to me at all in a week.

Constant issues with an Order sheet and invoices, liquid error appears with some products and the support is not helpful at all, they just advise to install a thrid party app instead of looking into the problem.

After 3 years, the 1STAR will be renewed once again. There's an in-app alert that calls for an update and request to contact support. However, contacting support takes you to Shopify Support with no outcomes in sight or timeline. The issue seems to be ongoing for several months by reading the reviews

Our theme support team can make some changes to the templates for Order Printer, although this is usually limited to minor changes such as adjusting spacing and adding text and images. Other requests are not supported by our themes team, as per our design policy (https://bit.ly/3uGMIeu), and these changes must be made by a third-party developer or by the merchant themselves. Am I not using this properly, or is "order printer" the most barebones receipt/pack slip program ever? It doesn't make your store look cute or polished. How has Shopify in today's day and age not created an easy program where you can place your logo etc. on the forms? This is a basic shopify need - not something we should be paying a monthly fee for with some other app in the shopify app store - and also it's something a developer at HQ could make look good and be user friendly in no time flat.

Order Printer app not working on iPad since week ago. Says not compatible with current version of Safari. My iPad is updated with latest.
