Extremely Unprofessional & Time-Wasting App – Avoid at All Costs!

I started using this app for order verification and was required to register a personal number to activate it. Unfortunately, the app turned out to be completely unhelpful for my needs, so I decided to discontinue.

However, the real nightmare began when I asked them to remove my registered number — something only their team has access to do.

It’s been over a week, and I’ve been constantly following up. Every day, their team — especially one specific POC — keeps giving false promises like “We’ll remove it today”, “Give us some time”, etc. But NOTHING has been done. No action, no update, no respect for the seller’s time.

This kind of careless, unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. You’re holding onto sensitive data without consent and not acting on repeated requests to delete it.

I strongly advise other Shopify sellers to avoid using this app. Poor customer service, broken promises, and absolutely no regard for data privacy or urgency.

Update: This app is getting on my nerve on each passing day. What is customer support to them? Seller is a fool to them.

I am using Hilltech COD app since few weeks and that is working fine for my shopify store. The customer support is very good along with tech support. I recommend this app. This is working fine for my system.

After instilling this app our fake order count reduced.
