So far so good- we added this app out of a desperate need for per item shipping, and it's been very easy to set up. Support has been incredibly responsive and helpful.
Our site uses a large variety of shipping methods. Of which all get affected by whether or not the item is or is not in stock. The Parcelify App so far seems to be doing a great job of making the shipping side of our site a better experience for our customers, as well as making our lives much easier to manage it. But most of all I have to say a big thank you to Aaron who did a fantastic job of getting us going. Top class customer service!
Not going to lie, this app is a bit tough to figure out as far as setting up your shipping rates. Luckily their support staff is super helpful. Shout out to Alex M for helping me out thank you

By far the easiest free solution to getting a free shipping option setup for retail customers. Especially on specific collections.
This app is not good for those of us that have different vendors that have set shipping rates. The app gives the customer options to pick a shipping rate if the cart has different vendor items for purchase. This means one or more of the vendors items would not have shipping charged to their item. The customized shipping is awful to navigate and I'd advise against it. It's just not completely multiple vendor customization friendly.

Sounds like you just need some help understanding how to get the most out of Parcelify. Parcelify does allow you to create custom rates that account for all the items in the order (in your case from different vendors) all in the same rate. Thanks to Richard, the president of the company, I now have Parcelify up and running! He sent over very detailed instructions in December and I finally had time to sit down to adjust my shipping. Everything looks like it is working great so far. It took me a while to understand how to set it up, but once you get it, it is very straightforward and easy to make changes. Definitely recommend!

Parcelify is the main reason I'm able to move my store over to Shopify, simply because I sell items such as stickers and pins that are nearly impossible to calculate a fair price for with Shopify's native options being only Pricing and Weight. With Parcelify's custom rate options filtered through criteria such as Product Tags (and much more), I was able to finally create the best shipping rates for my customers in Shopify! The fact that this is 7.99/month also, which is the cheapest I've seen around, is a huge bonus since the shipping rate options were all I needed.
Their guide to using the app is super thorough, and even if there's an error you can't figure out, their support is personable and helpful, and they really take the time to figure out exactly what you need to make your store work (thanks again Richard)!
AAAAARRRGH! Hours and hours of frustration!
Finally got the app to work but having given up and trying others they're much the same.
1. watch the video which is on getting started page (dev site) not docs where it should be and even then it leaves questions.
2. you have to have your countries set in Shopify's settings or the zones you create in the app won't work!
This really is something Shopify should provide and make it intuitive as it's pretty fundamental stuff!
This is a beautiful app and does what I needed it. Support from Christian was next to instant. Keep up the good work mate.
