Adding car part fitment compatibility and enabling a vehicle selector to your auto parts store is important to help your buyers find the right part. However, there are many challenges that make this difficult.

• Parts to vehicle compatibility is extremely specific. There are over 40 attributes that may determine whether a part is compatible with a vehicle, such as: Year Make Model, SubModel, Engine Designation, Chassis, Body Type.
• Getting access to fitment data is expensive and time consuming
• Shopify's existing systems are just not set up to handle fitment. For example, the tag system used by other apps has a 250 tags limit.

PartsPal unlocks access to a database with over 42 million catalog parts (4000 aftermarket and OE brands). Your products are automatically matched with a catalog part, enriching your products with fitment data and other part information.

PartsPal allows you to add and change fitment information easily and publish them to Shopify when ready. We accept fitment data from all major standards and formats.
