With Photo Finish, import thousands of product photos to Shopify in minutes.

Manually uploading photos is tedious and time-consuming. Photo Finish automates the process. Use this app to match photos to their corresponding products and add them to your online store with just a few clicks of your mouse.

How It Works

  1. Name your product photos using the product’s variant SKU or barcode.
  2. In Photo Finish, connect to Dropbox. This will create a new folder inside your Dropbox named “Photo Finish.”
  3. Add your photos to that folder.
  4. Export a product CSV from Shopify.
  5. Back in Photo Finish, upload the product CSV.
  6. Click Finish. Photo Finish will create a new CSV that includes your photos.
  7. Upload the new CSV to Shopify, and you’re finished!

Why We Built It

As a result of COVID-19, many merchants have no choice but to bring their offline merchandise and retail shops online. That means that, while transitioning from a POS system to Shopify, they are adding thousands of products to Shopify all at once.

The problem is that most POS systems don’t incorporate images to represent these products—and we all know that product photos are an important element in driving online sales. We developed Photo Finish to help merchants transition from traditional brick-and-mortar stores to e-commerce at an exponentially accelerated pace.

With Photo Finish you can match thousands of photos to their corresponding products and upload them to Shopify in mere minutes.

For comparison: Say you want to upload 1,000 products. On average, each product has three corresponding photos. Without Photo Finish, you’re looking at around 25 hours of active work (1.5 minutes x 1,000 products / 60 minutes in an hour). The process is tedious and frustrating. With Photo Finish, you’re done in minutes.

Awesome way to get a lot of images loaded at once! *key is to make sure all your images are initially named with a barcode or style number and then its easy breezy from there.
