Extreamly rude customer service person name Paul
Do not use this app I beg of you. It takes hours just to import even 10 reviews. I don't know how this has a 4.7 rating.
garbage. hours to import reviews. AVOID THIS APP.
Hi, we are really sorry to hear about your experience with our import reviews feature. Occasionally, and depending on the amount and source of the reviews it can take up longer than expected, although we can understand the frustration, and we apologize for that.
The statistics provided by Shopify show that you have used Opinew for 50 minutes, and we have checked our support tickets and can't find any discussions with our team.

Zero stars, as the developers of this app have proven that they will shamelessly REMOVE essential features of your paid plan in order to force you to "upgrade".
We were on one of their older plans with access to all features, but recently they introduced their new pricing plans. Instead of grandfathering us into the features we already had, the developers REMOVED the features which were essential to our business without warning, and demanded us to "upgrade" for to access the features we already had. The most frustrating part is that they aren't even new features. We used to have access to Questions and Answers, Klaviyo, Combined Reviews, etc for 1 price, and now we have none of them. We are moving to a new service asap.
Hi, we have left some time before replying to this review as we have tried to get in touch with you over 5 times with no replies.
To clarify to other brands reading this;
This merchant was on a grandfathered plan from 2020 and in sometime in 2021 downgraded to one of our newer plans at nearly half the price.
They reached out to us in Nov 23 asking why they don't have the features they used to have, we explained to them that they downgraded and even offered to give them all of the features back if they changed their plan to a slightly higher one (Still no where near the price they used to pay)
They couldn't thank us enough for taking the time to create a discounted custom plan that would allow them to achieve their business goals. They said they were very happy and upgraded.
Shortly after we received this 1-star review and radio silence from Victoria and the team at Venture Heat.
I can only put it down to it being passed to someone else on the team who didn't know they downgraded in the past.
The key take away here is that all of our old plans are and ALWAYS WILL BE grandfathered until a change of plan is made. We always do our best to help all of our brands. But sometimes it is never enough.
Very disappointed with this service of late, they changed their plan and fee structure and did not advise me, all the features I was paying for become redundant and I needed to upgrade to get features back at a significantly higher price, their customer service is appalling now, they do not respond at all.
I don't recommend this app.

Do not bother, endless glitches month to month resulting in time spent talking to support. 4 out of 5 cases get resolved.

Can't even make it work, worst review app i've seen
Tentei aumentar o plano várias vezes mas sem sucesso. Entrei em contato com a plataforma e eles disseram que eu nao sei selecionar o plano. É claro que eu sei, mas alguém na empresa nao esta preocupado com o bug que faz com que o cliente nao possa aumentar o plano. O aplicativo é muito ruim e infelizmente nao posso mudar pois perderia mais de 9 mil resenhas
Olá, corrigimos seu plano mais cedo durante o dia. Talvez você não tenha notado.
Na verdade, nossos desenvolvedores trabalharam em seu problema esta manhã e lançamos um hotfix especificamente para sua loja.
Posso confirmar que nenhuma de suas avaliações desaparecerá e que o plano está funcionando corretamente.

This app has gone downhill fast. Prices have skyrocketed, and they've stripped away features that were part of the base paid package. Now, I have to pay FIVE TIMES MORE just to respond to reviews on my products—a feature that was previously included. This is a blatant cash grab that completely disregards the small businesses Opinew claims to support with said package.
Customer support has become a nightmare. It takes forever to get a response, and when you finally do, the reps act clueless. One even told me there was no record of our previous conversations. I HAD TO INCLUDE SCREENSHOTS OF PREVIOUS MESSAGES BEFORE I GOT SOME HELP. This level of incompetence and disregard for loyal customers is infuriating.

2ND TIME they messed up on a LIVE PAGE. Their review app is shit. DO NOT RECOMMEND. THEY BRIBE YOU $100 WHEN YOU LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW.
Sorry you feel the need to leave a 1 star review for the second time, unfortunately with software, things do go wrong (not very often) it's just unfortunate that an issue has affected you twice. We are sorry about that.
All we can promise you is that we do our best to support you to find a resolution as quickly as possible and communicate to you the progress being made.
If you feel this issue (that was resolved in a matter of hours) is worthy of a 1-star review then that is your choice. However, we do not feel this is reflective of our customer service to your business or to our 1000's of other happy customers.
As for the $100 offered to you, this was not to remove a review, it was offered in exchange for your feedback and pointing out a clear technical issue to our product team when you weren't happy with how the app was performing. An issue that under the radar was affecting many other customers. This is company policy as we believe that negative feedback is vital to be able to constantly improve what we do.
At no point were you offered money in exchange for deleting your review.
Your issue was resolved within a few hours, However if you are still unhappy, I would invite you to discuss your issues further with myself support@opinew.com directly or through the live support chat.
