Photolock ‑ Pasilobus.

2nd Review - I loved the app. but in June, 2018, I was informed the app. price was going to increase from $5 to $12 which is a huge increase and unwarranted. I would not have minded a small increase but this is ridiculous when there are other apps that will do the same for a small price of $1.99.

I wrote the following review in Oct. 2017.
1st Review in Oct. 2017 - Great app - I am so glad that I found it to avoid copying of my photos which people have done over many, many years.

Setup was quick and hassle-free, I haven't heard a peep since I've used it and I take that as a great sign that it's working well!

My understanding is that you can't fright click or have screen shot of items, however people are still being able to screen shot my products and send them to me asking questions.

download picture easy when you open picture you can easy save it to computer before complete opening

Does as it says on the tin & more!

We started noticing our competitors stealing our images & other data. This app was precisely what we needed.

For $5 a month, use it!

To make 5 stars:
- Faster loading
- Another new similar app shows a custom menu on right click (e.g. Follow Us on IG, Contact, etc.). Neat idea that would be good to see implemented.

Otherwise, fantastic!

Photolock works as advertised. My only issue is that there doesn't seem to be any way to prevent screenshots from stealing our images.

If you could figure that one out, you would win everything.

It is good, But if to lock the text to protect your descriptions, it will also stop customers copying discount codes.

Works well on the website (5 stars). But the stock photo can still be copied from Google images (not secure from web search image collection)

1. Be aware the free trail is only available for the US$1 plan, if you switch to other plans, you will be charged.
2. I switched to the US$12 plan to check how the watermark looks like and it looks horrible in my opinion, there is a long OPAQUE bar which has same width as your picture and so it covers like 10% of your picture.
3. I contacted the team to see if they can have the bar removed or have the option to choose transparent color for the bar so there is only text on my picture. They told me they will have it done in few days, so I waited and stayed with the US$12 plan even though I am not using it. I waited for 2 weeks and sent them few emails in the meantime to see if they can provide any updates and they never replied to any of my emails.
4. So, altogether I feel like this is a scam, it was advertised with a 7 days trial, but it's for US$1 plan only, once I upgraded to US$12 plan, they just made me wait and wait and so if I forget to remove the app, they will charge me US$12 for every other months.
5. FYI, This app will slow down the loading of your website.
