I run my store by myself as my part time business. I'm only available 50% of the month and this app made my life much easier.
Been using this app for a couple of years and it's the best solution to communicate your availability before customers place their orders.
I chose this app from among the many pickup/delivery scheduling options because it made it easy to enable pickup scheduling on just a single day one month in the future which is the nature of our "buying club" Shopify application.
Kyle, the developer, was very responsive in resolving any issues that turned up and in helping me to "stretch" the app beyond its intended limits. It saved us a great deal of correspondence effort by enabling buyers to sort themselves into 15-minute pickup slots, each with a set order limit.
I would love if it could fully sync with the Shopify database such that changing pickup times manually in the app also changed the tags appended to the order, and vice versa that editing or cancelling orders within Shopify propagated through into the pickup calendar within the app. This may well be beyond the capability of *any* available pickup/delivery app, or maybe even technically impossible for reasons I don't understand, but I would challenge Kyle or any other developer to make it happen :-).
Setup was very easy! We have been using this app for a month now and it has been working perfectly for us. It is very user friendly from the shop's perspective but also from the customer's. Most importantly, Customer Service is responsive and helpful! Thank you, Kyle!
This app is exactly what our business needs! As a highly seasonal business that attends various different markets throughout the year we needed something that would enable our clients to easily schedules times to pick up their products at our various locations, without having to consonantly be in contact with us. The support offered by the developer is extremely helpful and always went above and beyond to ensure whatever the problem I was encountering was taken care of. Whether it be user error or even problems with the shopify it's self.
We were looking for an application to have both price range by zones of delivery and displaying the calendar for our customers to choose a day. I tried many apps and none had everything until we found Pickup & Delivery Buddy and it filled all of our expectations ! Moreover, Kyle, the developper is very reactive and answered all of our requests. Many thanks Kyle for your application !!! Highly recommend !!
I must have looked at well over fifteen pick up and delivery apps before deciding on this one by Keylay Apps. I'm glad I did, not only it is aesthetically clean and simple, but customer support is outstanding. Earlier this week I was having an issue with my delivery fee not showing up in my cart, and Kyle was extremely helpful with trouble shooting the problem. After a few back and forth emails, he helped me figure out the solution and now all is working great! Don't be hesitant in asking questions prior to installing this delivery app, or after you've installed it if you're having problems, because customer support is patient and prompt in responding to your emails. Well worth the monthly fee!
This is a great little app that has everything my business needs. It's fast to set up and easy to use and provides a benefit to me, my customers and my store that far outweighs its price. Not only that, the support has been outstanding - any questions or concerns have been promptly answered and solved. Highly recommend!
This should be your only choice for managing pickups. Why?
1. Out of 13 apps checked, they are the only ones that get the customer workflow correct. All the others prompted the customer to input a Shipping Address or Pickup Address - neither should be included in the customer workflow.
2. Super easy setup - plus you can turn it on and off directly in your Theme Settings under App Embeds.
3. Developer is super responsive.

I chose this app specifically because I needed the ability to exclude my drop-shipped products from the local pickup option. The scheduling calendar had a UI bug with my current theme and it was addressed and fixed within hours of me sending an email. While I installed this app on my personal store, I work with development teams and even implement Shopify stores for my day job and this app, and this developer, will absolutely make my short list of recommendations for my clients going forward.
