we shouldn't have to put a payment option at the beginning of setting up the connection between our shopify and our pinterest.....NO OTHER platform does this! We would love to connect our online store to our pinterest, but NOT If you are needing payment information up front. .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
you have denied by store because you state that i am a resale marketplace. Etsy is a resale marketplace that sells vintage items which are resale items. Ebay is also a resale marketplace, but i guess since i do not bring enough $$$ and just a small business. I am not allowed. You are not following your guidelines.
They constantly update their policies and expect us to quit our jobs and dedicate ourselves solely to updating our websites according to their never-ending changes. The support and customer service employees do not always respond to my messages, and if they do, they don't inform me of the problem I'm facing and how to solve it. They treat me arrogantly and show no respect for their subscribers in their application.
I used to highly respect Pinterest, but now they treat me as if there are no other websites besides theirs. I hope you suffer the losses that I have incurred because of you.
When I first linked my web store to pinterest, you guys or your "algorithm" accepted 100% of my products with no issues for more than 5 months. Over the time pinterest was contacting me every week asking me to invest on ads, which I always refused. After few more months, I decided to apply for the blue badge, and I was approved. That was the moment my ratings was going so high that I started having sales without investing a penny on ads. For some reasons pinterest stop sending me requests for ADS, instead, they was banning most of my products and took my badge out. Well, I try to delete items that wasn't showing any sentive parts from a woman's body but that was a pinterest's requests. Anyway, I deleted most of those products and also I had to redesign my store in order to fix the issue. Thankfully my badge is back. Few days after, I get another email from Pinterest saying I don't qualify anymore for the badge and they was reserving the right to not tell me specifically "WHY". I was still having sales without the badge, but today, another email; "my merchant account is suspended". I just want to say, I will be stronger without pinterest. Thank you.
It doesn't let me connect, I don't know why it keeps happening. Every time I get to the connect page it goes back to the start.
First connection went flawless, added catalog, which got synced nicely... at first. Then I noticed that it does not sync new products as I add them to Shopify and no error message or other feedback is given, except for the last sync datum, which is very old. Very unfortunate.
The app is pulling the wrong URL. Shopify uses the Product Handle in the URL, but this app is pulling the Product ID instead. With the Product ID in the URL, it creates a 404 Page Not Found error, which cascades into multiple other errors. You need to modify your app to pull the correct Product Handle URL:
Shopify uses the Product Handle: {{ all_products['the-handle'].title }} I tried to work around this by adding URL redirects. However, the problem is that when you pull URLs by Product ID, it is only limited to 20 products at a time. Since I have over 50 products, half of my products are never pulled. I contacted Pinterest Support, but they give me the run around. When there are cascading error reports (caused by the wrong URL creating a 404 Page Not Found error), they want me to address those secondary errors. It won't help. Please fix your appl. Absolutely baffled! I’m a UK used trying to connect my Shopify shop to Pinterest app. I have contacted Shopify many times and Pinterest over the last few months as despite removing cookies, changing browsers, using different devices absolutely NOTHING will get this app to connect and I’m so disappointed. Neither side can seem to help as I’m either asked if I have installed the app…which so obviously the problem…or told to clear my browser cookies, change browser etc which I have. Multiple times. I have even tried on friends computers. Reading these reviews and searching g for help it appears that I’m one of a few who can’t get this going. So I give up
This app works best on Chrome. Could you please try to use the app on that?
I think I have had the same experience as many: tag health. Strange error messages with no help with how to fix the problem (and sometimes what the problem even is). And support is nil. Since this is a common problem, I find it strange that it hasn't been addressed in your updates.
This app is useless for anyone who deals in secondhand wares, vintage or resell. Per Pinterest Merchant guidelines (and their Verified Merchant Program team) the secondhand nature of products makes sellers ineligible for using the program, and the catalog will not be automatically published to pinterest. If you sell any secondhand (or anything that doesn't align with their updated guidelines) don't waste your time with this app.
