I have had a great experience with Pixels. The app is easy to use, they offered me free samples of the products, and the person i was in touch with to set up the business was very helpful and available. Overall i would say the products are of a good quality and made in america, the service is reliable and user friendly. Recommend.
Having researched several apps I was for my art store Pixels is by far the best. It is easy to populate my store with my artwork and makes it easier for the customer to order and get their art from my store. Given how complicated shipping is on Shopify, Pixels makes it very simple. Their printing and finishing are flawless and they ship speedily with tracking. Because of this app I can ship my art anywhere in the world with peace of mind and can focus on creating my art and marketing to my customers. As an artist, where there is a dearth of reliable drop shipping options for us this app is pretty much the reason I am able to use Shopify to showcase and deliver my artwork - and I did extensive research into several other drop shipping apps. Alex Young is also very responsive and quickly answered all my questions so that I was up and running very quickly. Pixels customer service is also efficient and follows up to get any issues resolved if they come up. This app works seamlessly with Shopify, enables me to sell my art on a range of beautiful finishes without having to hold stacks of expensive inventory, works as it says it does and, together with Shopify, makes life so much easier for me and my customers... and it's free! It is my favourite Shopify App for all of the above.
I compared their prices with other drop shipping options... taking into consideration time to ship (some well-known outfits take 10 days to 3 weeks) ease of use and the fact that these are not batch items, but single items and overall, while I would love lower base prices on larger home decor items, they really are not that far out for one of a kind art, especially since they get shipped at local shipping rates within a week on average. I hope that FAA brings on more items, such as socks, tapestries, badges and clocks, which are perfect for gifts. I have found Pixels to be a great app and am very happy with it.
We like Pixels among other print on demand companies but you ought to fix how these images display on shopify websites. We are not able to get the same display as we did on our fine art america / pixels page in our shopify shop, we had to manually link them to a page so the images will show up on our shopify website when we added the images to store they didn't show in our store until we link them and even now we still can't add phone cases or pouches as they are not displaying per artwork rather just displaying the products individually which looked too crowdy. But why so complicated?

Pixels is awesome. Unlike other inventory apps that force you to add products one by one, Pixels automatically imports your inventory from Fine Art America and all you have to do is choose with products to add to your Shopify store. It does take time to set up, but it's incredibly user-friendly. The tech support is incredible -- they are always on top of everything, and they even make sure to build a relationship with their Shopify partners by having you stay with the same tech person so you can go right to them if you are having a problem with the app. The CEO of Pixels is awesome as well, and he's even helped us with integration in spots where we have struggled. I'm so thrilled with how clean and clear cut this app is and I couldn't be happier with the support I have received while getting up and running. Setting up shipping can be tricky for the novice, but tech support is always happy to help and once they were informed, it was seamless. They manufacture products automatically and all you have to do is sit back and enjoy making money. :) Download it. Now.
My initial review was negative but Pixel support got in touch with me and worked diligently to fix the problems I identified earlier.
It now works well. A couple of tips:
1. The app automatically pulls in and fulfills orders even if you have your store set for manual fulfillment. I mentioned this to the app developer and he built in a 3 hour delay so that if a customer cancels immediately after ordering we can still stop the item from being produced.
2. The cost of items does not include the shipping cost. Be sure to account for that if your store offers free shipping.

** UPDATED review - developer helped me to get my images uploads to their website. Had to strip out image file information on each photo. Still haven't fully tried out their system due to figuring out the options to ship their products and mine separately without gouging the customer with shipping fees and adding more monthly selling fees by installing another app. But at least now the app does work.
Does not work. I tried uploading images. Way within the limits of their max file size upload. The file uploaded in a few seconds, then it said "finishing upload. After 6 minutes or waiting, nothing happened, so I exited. Tried another image, same thing. Tried another image, same issue, it won't work. So since i cannot get any images to upload, i am saying this app/service does not work. I wanted to try it, but since I cannot upload anything, I am forced to delete the app and look elsewhere, sorry. When you fix it, let me know and I will try again, and perhaps change my review.
Way too expensive.
How am I supposed to sell a shower curtain that costs me $65? Or a towel that costs me $35?

I have been with Pixels/Fine Art America for many years. I was very excited when they brought this app to Shopify. There are not a lot of good options for POD apps with Shopify. Pixels integration is the easiest thus far. There were quite a few bugs when they first released the beta version, but they have worked on fixing most of them. (I will change my rating to a 5 star once I feel confident that all the bugs are fixed). They also recently reduced the base pricing (as compared to what they charge on Pixels/Fine Art America) because they aren't doing as much for us artists on our own websites as they are on their websites. They offer a large variety of products and use archival inks for printing.
Out of all the dropshipping apps I have used thus far, Pixels is by far the best! My customers love the clutches! They are high quality in make and look great with my art prints. The app is very easy to use. Any issues with orders, questions or queries pixels is quick to respond and help. They have so many great products to choose from. I am excited to continue to work with them and try more of their products! If you are just starting out pixels is a great app to download to begin!

The Pixels app by far has been the easiest to integrate into my Shopify store. Pixels, offers different quality products for us artists to see our designs displayed on, for instance their large weekender totes and luxurious duvet covers have been a favorite of my customers.
