I want to cancel the subscription and get a refund. But I am not allowed to. I haven't used this application in months and had canceled the subscription and it didn't go through. So when requesting a day after my card was processed they would not refund

This App is absolutely horrible. When I signed up for it I thought it was free just to find out that it's the POS Pro, which is $89 a month. I can't manage the subscription in order to cancel either because the App is malfunctioning. I wasted money and Support is taking their sweet time getting back to me to help me cancel it. The POS Pro is way too expensive and hard to manage from Shopify admin. I don't recommend it!

It just doesn't work at all...
Whenever I click overall, there will come out a pop-up asking for a trial of POS PRO. After I closed it, the page would be into error every time

Terrible experience trying to migrate my existing QB data. Don't listen to the sales people that will tell you how simple and automated the process will be. Two months later I'm doing it all myself the hard way. The hardware is all Apple so be ready to replace everything if currently a PC user. It's just like the regular Shopify platform in that several basic and obvious features are lacking and might only be overcome with another app. Want to save a customer cart in POS and later open it to complete the sale on a different pos device? There's an app for that.

Update: I am a pro subscriber and know I can save the cart on one POS device, but it's not possible to reopen that cart on a DIFFERENT POS device.

Update #2: The hardware sucks. You'll need to repeatedly reconnect your tap/chip card reader to the ipad for no reason. Multiple times per day. Did you know that their system doesn't even support card swipes?

Regarding the saved cart, I will certainly pass this up as a feature request to our products team as it is a great idea that a lot of people would benefit from. At Shopify, we pride ourselves on the continued growth and development of our platform.

The POS app can also be used in an Android device.

As for the hardware, it is not expected to have it disconnecting it constantly throughout the day. We recommend you contact the Retail Support team to help you troubleshoot the card reader. We are here 24/7 to help.

This is a horrible device. It does not work, z I have been given the run around that it has been escalated. One week calling every day. I’m canceling it and have my bank give me the refund and returning the device

Un mois qu'un problème persiste : les détails des commandes ne remontent plus. Juste le titre sans les options ! Le support est très mauvais car je propose mon aide sans cesse et je n'ai aucun retour. C'est extrêmement grave alors que Shopify parle de créativité, d'entrepreunariat, d'initiative ! Tout ce discours est bidon quand un client a un problème.

If I could give this zero stars, I really would. It's a shame to give this terrible mistake of a Point of Sale even 1 star. We were using quickbooks POS without any problems, then we were recommended to Shopify, and wow, what a let down. The e-commerce is fine, however, if you own a brick and mortar DO NOT USE THIS!!! It is incredibly limited in it applications and you have the mind-numbing pleasure of learning with the Shopify team on the shortcomings - which means the solution is a third party app that costs anywhere from $5-$20/month.

We followed the steps of setting up card reader. We paired with one device, worked one time. We have been desperately trying to get it to work by following the troubleshooting steps to no avail. We have contacted the hardware-store@ and have gotten the run around, where told there is a firm 30 day refund policy. Not only is it disappointing to have a faulty device but to also receive bad customer service makes it extra painful. Shopify already charges an arm and a leg. Feel insulted at this point.

Do not get the POS if you run anything more than a coffee shop. We have Shopify Online and it's great. We did the full onboarding, full training. All our staff to come to find out the sales girl for shopify POS was straight lying about it capabilities. Elana Baum. Who still won't return my emails. Shopify POS literally can't do anything without APPs which are extremely expensive per month. Even the apps are terrible. If they are under 200.00 a month don't waste your time. That's right. Soooo expensive. Shopify POS cant do the following= Layaways, Special Orders, dropships, store credit managment, customer account managment, staff sales and commission, Barcode creation with print list. When you get inventory in, you have to manually go in and print each tag even after you have submitted the entire purchase order. REALLY? the real meaning of POS. What a waste of time and a huge amount of money. Now we are all fixing the inventory one by one. GO use Lightspeed with all the capabilities and cheaper CC rates.
