In the backend, the 'Vendor' filter had all the brands, but only a fraction of them were displayed on the collection page. Some tags were also set without permission. After uninstalling the filter, these were not removed and my default filter no longer works properly. A new test is therefore no longer an option.
Hi, please note that only the brands that are applicable to the current collection will show on the page - if you want to show all of the brand filters there are a number of options, such as the 'list' and 'replacer' modes, so you can customize the options to best suit your store and customers.
We have tried reaching out to you, our support team is always on hand to help resolve any issues. Once an app is removed from your Shopify store it can no longer make any changes, however we can easily clean up and restore any changes made by the app via support. Please get in touch so we can help you get your store sorted out.
Please note, leaving a negative review as your first option instead of contacting support is not entirely fair, our team works very hard on providing the best app and support we can, and these types of reviews are damaging to our business, particularly when they can easily be resolved or are due to how the app was configured.
"fancy" ONLINE app without support on weekends. Useless big time.

Probably the most important app we installed. Makes Shopify actually function like you would expect an e-commerce platform to function. Great at creating automated and custom filters.

Update July 2023: We've been using the app for about 5 years and are still very happy with it. The support is spectacular and willing to help troubleshoot, offer guidance, and even some customizations. Very affordable.
Original review: Excellent app. I spent considerable time trying to set up other product filter apps and none of them did what we needed. Power tools filter is incredibly customizable and there are tons of automatic installations meaning even those with little coding experience can implement these filters on their site. There are also helpful tutorials if you get stuck and support was excellent. I was initially hesitant at the price when compared to other filter apps but of the ones I looked at in depth Power Tools has many more features and is worth it.
I really like this filter app. I really like how I can choose how to filter everything and how it sorts it within the original collection. The look of it is nice too. I think the customer support alone is a great reason to get this app. I had a unique request for them and they were up to the challenge and immediately went in and implemented the solution to my request. I have been using Power Tools since 2014. The Power Tools Suite is an excellent investment and the product support team is top-notch. I saw this app and it looked just what I required. Emailed and Brad responded within a few hours. I paid to have it installed (at a very fair and low price indeed). Brad had me up and running the very next day. I had an employee add tags to our products (VERY simple with the BULK edit tags in the app). A couple of days later and it was all up and running. Super easy. Thanks! HIGHLY recommended.
