UPDATED: the customer service team reached out to fix the problem promptly.

BEWARE: this app clashes with Bold Subscriptions App, even if you delete it. I wish I knew this before installing this app, and I thought there was no risk with the free trial. Now I need to comb through the code to clean it up.

I really like the setup of this app. However I'm still in the free trial and using it on a live drop and the pre-order doesn't actually show on our sold out sizes even though it's activated. I trialed it yesterday to make sure it worked.. and it did work, but it took 5-10 minutes to change from "add to cart" to "preorder" after a size sold out. Is this normal?

I was in a bind because a lot of our products were running out of stock and were being shown as unavailable. I actually tried a few pre-order apps prior to giving Pre-Order Manager 2.0 a shot and you definitely get what you pay for. 1) very easy to set-up 2) visual customization for pre-order button passive and rollover states 3) worked flawlessly with our theme 4) I required a few customizations and the customer support team was magnificent.

One area for future development improvement is that our store has a drawer/ajax cart, but the pre-order button does not yet have the functionality to trigger the drawer – had to settle for sending customers to the Cart Page.

Great App! Thanks.

It would bed great if there could be a "In stock date" showing under the button on the product page.

Be very careful. When you have finished needing this service, this app tricks you into thinking you have uninstalled it, and therefore won't be charged, but doesn't make it clear that until you have actually DELETED the app, you will still be charged.

Please note that all Shopify apps will stop charging once you had uninstall the app from the Apps Settings page. We use the Shopify Charge API which strictly follows the 30-day charge. You can learn more about it here:

It is not possible to trick anyone into believing the app is uninstalled because Shopify is very strict in their audit. Besides, we had made it very clear and transparent in our FAQs on how to uninstall our app.

Very handy app for doing pre-orders without having to modify any code. Worked well for me for the few weeks I needed it.
