We used Pricefy for around 18 months after switching from Price2Spy when we moved our website to Shopify and it went from being just about ok to completely unreliable in that time.
Constant issues with it fetching incorrect prices or competitor URLs becoming deactivated. Tried many times to deal with their "support" to be constantly told how great their service is, they don't have any issues and it must be my fault that things aren't working, URLs are failing, prices are reported wrong etc.
My email to them:
You say you don't see any issues but all except 10 of my 608 URLs for "competitor1" are showing as "scraping failed".
"competitor2" - virtually all URLs have failed
"competitor3" - virtually all URLs have failed
half of "competitor4" URLs have failed
all of my "competitor5" and "competitor6" URLs have failed
I've found multiple URLs for other retailers that were previously working and now failed with a 404 due to the last character of the URL suddenly being missing, I didn't change these URLs...
Pricefy started off as a decent service with very few issues, but it's becoming less reliable and you've added a limit on the number of URLs we can add
Something has obviously gone seriously wrong somewhere.
Their response:
By the way Simon, if you think we aren't reliable you should change your mind
we analyze 1 billion urls per month
with 98.5% of success
at 1/10 of the price of our competitors
maybe the only thing to do here is to review your setup
So I did review my setup and moved to Prisync, all prices reported accurately, zero issues and their support seem great to deal with (unlike Paul).
Terrible program and no support , trying to load individual items, it loads up everything, that was the free program, it said upgrade to get support
So i upgraded and still no support , wasted USD49
after the review
i was basically told to go to hell
they replied to me saying BYE without offering to assist

We do not assist such kind of customer who lie in the review without even contacting us twice. Delete that review and we will evaluate. Per our terms we do not offer refunds.

Paul from Pricefy.
We ask for support many times! Hard to work with that man from support who said he doesn't have time for us for a meeting!
one of the worst app I have tried ever. NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. do not even waste your time as I had to hire other freelancers to make it work and even doing that the app did not change the prices, did not find the right competitors. I wanted to create rules for my prices and later on if you want to be notify about changes you need to go to next plan paying more for nothing. Not recommended at all.
I would not recommend this app. There is no way to contact anyone for support. Good luck finding an email that works. We've sent multiple emails. The "chat with us" doesn't work. Our product catalog doesn't work and does not match properly with out competitors.
The app is not very user friendly for a large catalog. Using GTIN's to match but was finding incorrect GTIN on competitors websites.
Changing prices that were $2 to $43,000. Changed one of the 3 products with varying conditions, changed USED to more expensive than our BRAND NEW item. Great in theory but too many bugs.
Linking didn't work as expected. There were bugs setting up MAP pricing. And I wasn't able to change an old employee's email because of the hoops they make you jump through to change.
Dear customer, sorry to hear that but you contacted our live chat with a totally different email asking to obtain the ownership of another account. We kindly ask you to send the request from the original email because we put extra care in our customers security.
Customer support (PAUL) was really bad, and product matching doesn't work. All the time it doesnt match the right products. And if i would like to do it, manually product by product like pricemole, i get send to the competitor side. unbelievable how i wasted 100 dollars and a lot of time on this.
PS: I never asked for a discount! Please read back our conversation.
Hi Tomas,
We totally get it. We declined a 50% discount request, so of course, a bad review is the natural next step. It's practically the rulebook these days, right? Merchants everywhere face it weekly, so we're not surprised.
Best of luck with your next discount hunt!
