Update: finally got an update from customer service. Asked to speak with the Chief Operating Officer, guy on the phone says," He is to busy to talk to you is there anything I can help you with?" I replied, I am the COO of my company and your customer and he is to busy to talk to me? Guy took my email address and blew me off.
Save yourself some headache and money hit delete now!!!
Where do I start… people who give five stars claim customer service? Where? I didn't get any… just emails from overseas that just frustrated me even more. As a small business owner I used this app on my shopify store to "save" money and in the end it has ended up costing more money in refunds and shipping and discounts to angry customers who now have a bad image of my company and has impacted my business for years to come. Do you know what Printiful has said to me? Sorry, we sent the wrong size. Your fault sir, our sight magically "even though we have sold the correct one before", like the stupid hogwarts theme we have for customer service magically sinked incorrectly. So we will not refund or replace.
What? Am I responsible for sinking the site once a week? Let's not forget that the design process was horrible. Explaining the same thing to 90 different email robots then asking how to get the Mock ups and final design to match without getting charged for another $10 art fee that I had already paid twice.
No help at all just blaming me. Well I'm a professional graphic designer who has been doing what I do for companies full time for the past 7 years and I have never worked with such a frustrating and disrespectful company in my life. App deleted. Lessons learned. These things suck.
Do NOT use Printful. I ignored all of the warnings not to, and I've been having unhappy customers one after another because of the delay in shipping as well as low quality of work. I'm closing my business because I'm not proud of the product people are getting. If you're wanting to make a good first impression with your customers DONT use Printful.
Terrible customer service, app layout is unnecessarily confusing at times (you have to dig through it to find the most basic things). They put my order on hold because the file needed to be transparent. They told me to respond to the email they gave me directly to update the order with the correct file. I did that, waited a day later and the order is still on hold. I contact customer service to find out if they received the file I sent and when my order is going to be updated. Instead of finding out information about my order the guy literally told me to watch a video and couldn't give me any helpful information about what was going on. No help AT ALL... lol 3 days later my order is still on hold making my store look bad for my customers. I sense laziness and unprofessionalism all over this place. About to switch to Gooten.
Worst support ever. Nobody can help you out, they just keep sending video tutorials. But nobody, after 5 attempts, can help you install everything properly. We finally managed to have it working, and now we found out they have the worst delivery system ever. Items don´t arrive on time or directly just don´t arrive. And if you try and contact them for shipping issues they just want your clients to find out what has happened, instead of them taking care of the problem. Incredible. Don´t waste your time, very unprofessional. Not what we expected.
READ THIS WELL... I have printed 4/5 t-shirts using some of the most expensive one on the catalogue to check the quality of the product and printing - as suggested. After receiving the articles I noticed immediately large necks, no size-labels ...AND THE SAME EXSACT CHIP PRINT PROBLEM REPLICATED ON EVERY LOGOS OF MINE ... NOW READ THIS AGAIN.... THEY WILL NOT ADMIT ANY DOING WRONG... CONSEQUNTLY YOU WILL NEED TO DEAL WITH YOUR CUSTOMER'S FRUSTRATION. When I pointed the fact that the logos were screwed, someone replayed to me this exact statement: "the job was delivered as expected." So If you decide to use this service after reading this message, you'll deserve any trouble that may come at you !
UPDATE:
To start off, we take full responsibility for any errors made in our fulfillment process, you can find our Returns Policy here: https://www.printful.com/policies/returns. The print coverage, however, heavily depends on the qualities of the chosen fabric.
The thickness of the fabric, as well as its blend, can affect the way a print appears on the garment, you can see more on this here: https://www.printful.com/important-facts-about-tshirt-printing
According to the submitted graphics for this order, our fulfillment teams confirmed that we would not be able to provide better results for this print file and a reshipment would look exactly the same. We would recommend adjusting your print file for a better outcome moving forward. We also recommend checking product reviews to see if the garment is something you're looking to add to your store. We're sorry that this has caused you some inconvenience!
Thank you for your review! We experienced technical difficulties with our website, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused! Please find more information here: https://bit.ly/3eZTyVI
We are sorry to hear about the issue with the products. Could you please send us more information on this to feedback@printful.com? We'd like to look into this in more depth.

I have 17 products that have been "discontinued", 32 that are "out of stock", the "alternatives" selected doesnt work. I went weeks without being able to make sales before they advised me they had fixed it - no compensation offered.
After ordering test prints of my "alternatives" I discover the print files used for my original designs aren't placed correctly on the alternatives and as such they look rubbish and my customers are not getting the product as advertised on my store.
The lack of reliability, professionalism and accountability of Printful makes it the absolutely WORST option for a company wanting to create brand loyalty from their customers. There are cheaper options available on the App Store like Represent.
Really poor customer service. They make thousands of dollars through my stores each month and then once in a blue moon when I ask them to reship an order ($15-30 their cost tops) because of package theft or something of the like, they tell me to go pound sand. Their customer service is way below average to industry standards.

I've been using Printful for a few weeks now. I really love the concept because it allows me to attempt to start a T-Shirt (brand) company at a low investment. The 2 stars are for 1) their awesome customer service and 2) for the print quality. Some people complained about print quality but so far I have been happy, despite the placement of my logos not matching the product mockup. The customer service is by far their best attribute, while it is impossible to receive real-time customer service, the responses are generally quick and extremely helpful. All the replies from different team members and genuinely helpful.
I would like to offer more of their products to my customers, but the costs are just so high that it's impossible to offer them at a reasonable rate. Example 1: their cheapest mug is $10 and shipping it is $11, so I am charged $21 for a mug: JOKES! I wouldn't want to charge over $12 in the first place for a cheap white mug so charging $25+ to my customers is out of the question. Example 2: their 12x16 canvas is $45 and shipping it is $36, meaning we're already at an unreasonable cost to me of $81: forget about it. My customers don't want to pay $100 for a tiny Cavas of my photography.
PROS:
- Customer Service
- Print Quality
- No overhead
- Little to no risk
CONS:
- Extremely high costs of goods
- High Shipping rates
- Product printing can differ from your mockup
- Extremely slow shipping
Overall I am happy with the service because it enables me to test out a market for a brand I wish to create at very little cost to myself. Because I am trying to create a brand rather than make money, I can use Printful. If you are looking to make money, look elsewhere, unless you already have a client base. If you price your products reasonably, your profit margin will be extremely low.
I am using Printful in hopes of building a brand within the next 8-14 months. If I don't succeed, no big deal as the cost is nominal. If I do succeed, I can drop Printful, print local and start making money! Either way: Printful did its job.
*If not for terribly slow shipping and most products being too expensive, I would rate 4-5 stars*
July 13 EDIT:
Fulfilment and Shipping are beyond irritating. I haven't marketed my new store yet so it's Family and Friends only... which makes it even more embarrassing. Point in case: my friend put an order in June. It was shipped June 26. 20 days later, she has yet to receive the product. It's ridiculous. I'll never have repeat customers with this kind of bogus shipping service. And I'm in Toronto! I can't imagine if it were an order outside of North America. I have another order that was placed July 5..... 8 days later and the only update is "Sorting Completed" so it has yet to be fulfilled, let alone shipped. JOKES
Changing my Final Verdict Rating to 1 STAR. Unless Printful helps me out and fixes some serious issue then I can lift the rating to 3-5 stars depending on service provided.
paid 30$ to order t-shirt to test the service after 4 mounts no item no refund , costumers service saying items lost and it's my problem.. SCAMERS don't use

You can only add 2 products per day? Is this a joke? It will take you a year to build a store with printful if they allow only 2 items of AOP per day.
Thank you for your feedback, we truly appreciate it!
This limitation on adding 2 new AOP products per day is set in place while we clear up the order backlog caused by the global pandemic.
Our main goal is to bring our average fulfillment estimates back to normal and then we'll also re-enable unlimited product push for all product categories.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to feedback@printful.com!
