Printful: Print on Demand

Products are good quality and I like Printful much better than Printify. Support is responsive and usually helpful. Its easy to resolve issues within the order process due to good customer support.

**HOWEVER**, if you are a legitimate business with a tax ID/resale license, there are a few additional, IMPERITIVE, steps that Printful does not prompt you to set up, or inform you about before you set up orders on your store.

First being tax exemption, they will charge you additional sales tax (in addition to shopify charging the customer sales tax) unless you submit your resale cert and have it approved PRIOR to the order. Otherwise you will be charged sales tax twice or more without any notification that the shopify payment does not cover your cost. This is also not mentioned in the pricing section where you set your prices. Making it very easy to lose money with Printful unless you pore over every setting before implementing it.

Second being shipping charges. The live rate for shipping is not charged unless you do BOTH of the following; have shopify PLUS, AND set shipping section to live rates in the printful backend. Again, there is no notification that the shopify shipping fee does not cover your shipping cost. This is also not mentioned in the pricing section where you set your prices. Making it very easy to lose money with Printful unless you pore over every setting before implementing it.

Both of these things should be included in the onboarding process, and neither are. Due to these issues, we have overpayed for a staff order by quite a bit, and Printful was not interested in reimbursing us (even as a one-time courtesy) for this issue that resulted due to their poor onboarding process.

Printful is hands down one of the best print-on-demand services out there. The print quality is sharp, colors are vibrant, and materials hold up over time. Integration with my store was effortless, and their fulfillment is fast and reliable. I also love the variety of products and customization options. Customer service has been helpful whenever needed. If you’re looking for a hassle-free, high-quality POD partner, Printful is the way to go.

I appreciate Printful's Service. The process for uploading the designs is easy. The quality of the printed t-shirts I have ordered has been excellent; with soft comfortable fabric and vibrant colours. Mugs and Greeting Cards have been printed well too. I recently added Hoodies back to my product list and the printed Gildan Unisex Heavy Hoodie was printed extremely well.

From my experience with the products, I have listed so far, Printful provide consistent quality printed products, excellent service and fast shipping. Their turn around is between 2-5 days. From my experience, orders have been shipped majority of the time, within 2 days, which my customers have been greatly encouraged by. The products are packaged well too.

My customers have repeatedly given encouraging feedback about their items, the quality of products and how quickly their items arrived. This has been a blessing to my business, helping me to provide quality products and gifts and enhances the quality service I like to provide.

Any issues that I have faced, regarding my products, Printful has responded to quickly with good customer service. The service is professional and they have always worked promptly to resolve the issue in the best way. It is really good to be able to make contact and to receive the necessary support from a company that sees the importance of serving their customers well, resolving issues as best as they can and valuing the businesses they serve.

I only wish there was more colour options and product variations available within the UK, so that I could offer more products, styles and colour options to my customers who are based here. With Printfuls turnaround and shipping times being so good, this would definitely be a great help to businesses like mine that are currently based within the UK. I personally have benefited greatly since Printful opened up their supply centre within the UK and I look forward to seeing their products and colour ranges increase and become available in UK.

I highly recommend Printful. I find the design tools are easy to use and it easily integrates with Shopify. With no minimum order requirements and the service, they provide, including the valuable information they put out, via their blogs and guidance videos, Printful is doing a great job serving small businesses with POD.

Printful has great customer service that is accessible and friendly and always willing to help. The quality of their products is high and when a product doesn't meet our expectations, they are willing to take it into consideration. I would recommend Printful to anyone who wants to use a Print on Demand company.

It syncs and works much better than the other pod apps. I'm using 3 pod apps on one website to get the range of products I want, and printify had an awful time with errors caused by having multiple pod apps used simultaneously. Took about 20 hours of troubleshooting to fix. Gooten worked very well, and so did Printify once I figured out how to sync fulfillment.
