Printify: Print on Demand

It’s good but would be better with - cheaper production fees therefore higher profit margins, more/better mock-ups, larger print areas and print locations, more variety eg: the current options for shorts are not so great sorry to say (just according to my opinion). Also (maybe you can do this already but I haven’t figured out how to do it but) I’ve had trouble with get my cap designs to fit within the embroidery standards - it would be good if there was a button to test your design to see if it meets the guidelines because I couldn’t figure out a way to check that aside from ordering a cap and seeing if it passes the digitisation stage. Still pretty good though.

Pros:
Soooo easy to design and use--probably easiest one out there
Super easy to update products--very logical
Review system is broken down nicely so you can decide what's important to you in each individual vendor--love this
Good job of letting you know when stuff is OOS
Good spreadsheets and reports
Lots of vendor options
Responsive customer service at all hours!

Cons:
A little more expensive than some smaller vendors (if you search, you can find better deals!)
**Overrides Shopify's fulfillment settings. Unless you have Printify also set to manual, they will make your stuff, even if you don't send the request from Shopify yet and have manual fulfillments set up in Shopify. no other app (of the 7 we work with) does this--so be aware if you prefer to do things manually or partially manually within Shopify.

I love this printify Print on Demand experience because the options to work with are plenty. The main thing I would like in this app is more places to put custom designs on instead of just the front and back ….but other than that I think it’s worth trying for your own apparel business!

Overall, easily functional and some great products to brand and produce. With that being said, there are a few that without the customization option, will only let you upload one color to your store which has me straying from those products. Along with a hand full of products that are really nice but kind of pricey, which leave me with very little profit margin, say 15% maybe. But again, a very manageable site that can get your online store started within a day or two. Depending how committed you are.

love it, but does take time to get the hang off using the platform. Not quite as plug and play as advertised.

PROS: Easy-to-use platform. Large variety of products to print on. You can choose your vendor if there is more than one to choose from. Free to use platform at higher cost per item, or you can pay a monthly fee and get a better rate on your product costs.

CONS: I would like to see more trendy shirts for ladies. For example, off-the-shoulder sweatshirts or baggy/loose-fit long-sleeves, and more crop top options. More affordable options for printing on more than one area, front and back, or sleeve print. Shipping times are longer than expected.

I'm enjoying the product creation in this app. I design mostly in Canva and then upload. Quick uploads are really appreciated.

I like the product mockups overall. I tried to use Placeit app for more mockups. That hasn't worked well for some items, e.g., mugs. The images were placed weirdly when uploaded to Placeit.

Overall, I'm mastering product creation and then publishing to Shopify.

GETS EASY AFTER A WHILE I JUST HATE THAT I HAVE A SHOPIFY STORE AND THE PROFIT ON SOME OF THE ITEMS FOR OST TO ME ARE TO HIGH TO MAKE A PROFIT. ESPECIALLY THE TUMBLERS.

Sometimes glitchy and slow to load or duplicate my items but user-friendly overall.
I would REALLY LOVE some high-ticket item options on the platform

It’s generally easy to use, the only downfall is the in app categorisation is quite hard, i think it could be a lot more user friendly for beginners like myself
