Started with $15 monthly cost and ended in over $30 with no notification of changes. I figure it out when reviewing the bank statements. This is NOT OKAY!!!

It is a pity, since the concept is nice. But the costs are far too high in comparison with the yield. ADVISE: DO NOT USE PRIVY!!

Privy just prompted me to write a review after cornering me into paying more than double the cost of my original plan. I purchased and set up privy over a year ago to install pop ups and manage my email list and a few days ago they just shut all of my pop ups and embedded forms off because it's "no longer included in my plan". Since I paid a coder to integrate privy's platform for me, and I'm not in the position to pay yet another professional to set up yet another marketing app, I'm going to go ahead and pay double for the exact same features because I really have no choice. Functionality is pretty good, but I've got a bad taste in my mouth from being mislead on pricing.

There are lots bugs with this App. I was charged twice for the same month and never responded for complaint

I initially reviewed Privy and warded 2 stars, now after more use 1 star is awarded.

It just doesn't do the basics right. Try and segment your Privy data and you are told to import from Shopify. The data is already in Privy. This is crazy and dangerous, creating more customer data on spreadsheets should be avoided.

On top of this, they've introduced a huge price increase because of all the functionality they have supposedly added.

Avoid, find something better.

It has been almost a month where people who unsubscribe are unable to and since has caused spam reports. Now they froze my account for a problem they can't fix. An email app that you can't unsubscribe from - this is infuriating. Please fix this - it is the busiest time of year and your app is not working.

The apps email integrations have leak emails - it keeps sending an email out from months ago, but only to a few people at a time. Customer service was unresponsive when we reached out for help. In addition, the pop-up timers are off and not holding saved changes.

zero documentation, zero help, zero instructions, zero useful info, you'll be on your own to figure this app out, the videos they do send out are 3rd grade level garbage, ue / ui is poor they never have navigated their own app to use it, zero user input

Our advice would be to check out the other 1 star and 2 star reviews. We have over paid for this app after cancelling for 12 months. A total of $1680. No recourse at all from this company , just "Its in our Terms & Conditions"

Our billing team has checked and can confirm no overpayment took place. In this case, we see you spoke to our billing team and let us know you forgot to cancel your account a year ago. We made an exception here and refunded the payments since your last login, which was 4 months ago. I tried again because of all of the great reviews. I sent a newsletter to about 200 contacts. I tested the mail send to myself clicked all the links NO PROBLEM! Then when I send the mail I get a bunch of responses saying the links take them to a broken web site because the email is marked as a spam sender. I messaged Privy and they said they recommend changing the auto sender address which I didn't see anywhere as an option to my personal email instead of theres. I look like an idiot in front of 200 people now. The solution is next time change the sender. TELL ME THAT BEFORE. Why oh why does this service suck so bad :( This app worked well for a few months. When my free trial ended (wasn't aware it was a trial or it would end) I wasn't notified. This app is about notifying people and THEY DIDN'T NOTIFY ME! I had over 1500 visitors to my website in one week and checked to see why I wasn't getting their emails and this poor company didn't send me a pop up email or sms to tell me I need to now pay for the service, which I would have done. Crazy right. There are other services out there don't make the same mistake I did. After telling them this happened they said nothing we can do would you like to pay for the upgrade. Not great customer service.

The customer support behind this business is shity. I submitted a Complaint and someone reached out to me Via email one time and never responded to me again. I even explained early on how I wanted to cancel my subscription and downgrade back to the free account because the paid account is not worth the extra money. A few weeks later (still no reply from the original agent who reached out or anyone else from privy) they still charged my card. DO NOT pay for a subscription it is a complete waist of money.
