I used this app for almost two years, so I definitely gave it my best shot. Unfortunately this app gave me nothing but a headache for the past two years. The customer service wasn’t helpful at all, now when I have finally unsubscribed from this app, now customer service wants to talk to me.... absolutely ridiculous. Side note: the customization is terrible and the abandoned carts don’t work. Tried getting help with that for a year. Save your money and a headache. Wish I did.
Very annoying how the color and size of letters overwrite want you want to put. Would give it less of one star if I could. What looks like would take 5 mins becomes a 30-45 min process. Needs a lot of updates.
I've been using Privy for almost a year and I am so frustrated by the app and their customer service. When I went to cancel I lost access to my account immediately even though I paid for the month. They said this information is clearly stated in their help articles when really it should be stated when you go to cancel your account And the right thing to do would be to prorate a refund depending on when the customer cancels...
In terms of the capability of the app its 100% not worth the price. There are so many bugs and the capabilities are lacking. For $200/month I'd rather pay for Klaviyo to have access to better features and better customer service. Honestly, I would never use Privy again nor would I recommend other businesses use it.
Pop ups are good.
Emailing tool often does not work, and it is difficult to get support from Privy. In particular, the tool is not importing csv emailing lists.
This app helped last year however with removing the free forever plan really just serves to punish customers which supported them grow.
Poor form
Very poor marketing app! There is no technical support whatsoever over the weekends. I created an email for a one hour sale and the mails have not been sent out and I cannot cancel the emails either. I cannot afford this to be sent out after the sale is over. This is the second time this is happening in 2023. The email templates are ugly and needs a lot of work.
This is ridiculous that I can't even email my subscribers without opting in to the monthly plan. Going to delete and choose a competitor after our launch!!

It keeps crashing during onboarding - sending me to a 404 and reloading.. The onboarding is more confusing than helpful. Not sure I’ll use this, not a good impression so far.

I did a test on my popup I can put in email but after that I click on subscribe button nothing happens Where do email names collected go?
This review-pop-up is really annoying when I'm new on digital marketing and I barely can understand what a list is. Hope the whole app helps to build and grow my business. I don't know if I'll be given the chance to write a new review.; for the moment, I still don't know.
