First time using this app so far so good. However the downfall about privy is once you send out a newsletter there is no way you can delete! Which sucks if you only need to send a quick sales email to your customers for a short period of time.
Oh! You can not add no more than 5 contacts on the free plan, you must upgrade.
This application has a powerful user interface and lots of interesting features.
However, it is incompatible with Rejoiner , maliciously altering email addresses sent to our external list . Do not recommend

This is certainly not easier than Mailchimp-which is free. I want to try Privy for a bit but I doubt I'll stick with it.

I spent the time designing a satisfactory email, when complete I was prompt to upgrade to a monthly subscription before it could be sent. I did. Then after paying, designing the email content, the email campaign was delivered to just one of my subscribers. I emailed their provided contact email with no response in return. Save your money and switch to the Shopify email marketing app. You get the same options with reporting and it gets delivered to all subscribers.
This app continues to show an error when I click on certain buttons. I am not sure if I will like this ad. Maybe the technical support should to update privy.
