Prodigi: Print on Demand

I use prodigi through etsy which works quite well. Their shopify app however is shocking! Support said it's old as an excuse to it's terrible interface and speed!

Off to find another POD!

I like Prodigi very much. Their customer service is top notch and their print and products are good quality. Did I mention I LOVE the customer service?! With that being said, HOWEVER, this app could use some work. If you put an order in manually, whether as a sample or for yourself, there is no access to what is going on, on the Prodigi side. Once you hit "submit" you cannot check for errors or order progress. There is no way to see what is being charged until after it is done. There is no way to verify shipping. There is no way to see the order progress or find the tracking number. The link for the completed order literally takes you back to your own Shopify order page which asks for you to insert tracking number, but that is not provided on the order screen. With most of the other POD apps you can follow your order progress from beginning to end. With this app, there is no capability to do that. My suggestion is to make this app function more like the Prodigi dashboard, wo we can have access to all of the information we need, without having to send multitudes of emails to customer service. As we ae in the United States, and customer service is in the UK, there is a time issue with answers. So corrections or order oversight cant be done quickly. I have actually gone back and forth about reviewing this app because I think the customer service is some of the best out there, but after spending 20 minutes searching for my order tracking number and not being able to find one, prompted me to rate this app. My final thought is if you want great service, good products, much recyclable packaging and can handle the headaches that come with the incompleteness of this app go for it. I will hang tough, but think you should be prepared.

I like Prodigi app very much. As an artist, I find it very simple and efficient. The quality of Prodigi prints is great too.

Prodigi I've found offers the best profit margins on their products, much better than printful's prices and especially their shipping time. Printful shipping is like 11 days + this is around 7 I believe

Can't even get a ship date for an order. Thankfully it was a sample order for the PTA and I was able to find another provider. NO COMMUNICATION from Prodigi or Printify. First-time user and def will NEVER use this service again. Order was charged to my cc 10 days prior to this review.

Overall I've had a great experience with the Prodigi app and 99.9% of the time, super customer service. I'd rate 5 stars except that to my knowledge there is still no "variant thumbnail" for products with various different crop ratios, or variant frame colours etc. Oh, and it would be great to have an option in app to order a test print. I believe customer service pointed me to their website to do this, but in app would be great. Other than that, happy with print quality, happy with dispatch time etc :)

Pretty good. They get my orders out on time, I do wish that we could bulk edit sizes instead of having to go into every product category and change it manually. My art is always the same size so it's tedious.

I sell greeting cards and art prints on my store. This app is very intuitive and has much better wholesale prices than other POD apps. I just upload my photo and enable it for different products. I have ordered some of the product samples for myself and love the quality. I recommend this service for anyone looking for print on demand. Support is also really great. I have having some issues with shipping prices, but within a few weeks they had fixed the issues and the shipping rates are back to normal!

An absolutely awesome app, probably one of the best I've seen. There are a couple of things that would make it even better, but overall it works very well. I have received my test order and the products are very high quality - although I am only using prints, framed prints and canvases so I can't speak for the other products.

Slow support. They charged my money even though the order was canceled. No custom orders. No cancel orders

Slow to get underway, but this is normal. Slight learning curve, but now it is a charm to work with. It creates own collection, so you have to change once imported to your shopify products. Overall a solid quick system for generating the designs and mock ups and moving them into your shop.

This was exactly the type of POD I was looking for. Easy Shopify integration, exceptional quality, you upload and adjust your art, set your price, select the products for your art, and publish to your store. Now, I'm able to focus more time on painting and marketing, and less on my POD. Thanks, Prodigi.

I used this app to automate the process of selling my art prints from my Shopify store. I ran into a few issues with the pricing structure of the prints being different in the UK but the team got back to me within a day and went above and beyond to help me get it all set up and answer all my questions. Fantastic customer service! I have also received samples of the fine art prints and they are by far the best quality out of quite a few UK printers that I've tested! The app would be even more brilliant if you had the ability to download a csv of the orders which included the product image so that it could be used with the manual order form order import if you didn't want to have the whole process automated.

The app was easy to setup and it was also easy to setup your designs within the app. I wanted to use Prodigi to print my t-shirts as I'm based in the UK & most of my customers in the US. I thought it'd be nice to have shirts fulfilled from within the US to decrease shipping times. The print quality of the t-shirts was terrible. I got designs printed on black shirts as well as white shirts and all of them looked faded/patchy. I've decided to go with a different POD provider.

Prodigi have been amazing from start to finish! I had issues with my old printers so we’re looking for someone new and the customer from Prodigi team have been amazing! They are quick to respond and also went the extra mile when I needed an urgent / important order during a busy period. The quality of all their products have been amazing! If you’re looking for a printing company I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!!

I am very disappointed in the customer service. I have two outstanding orders one from November 26th and the other from December 9th for iPad cases. They have not been produced and I have written 5 times to customer service requesting the status of these orders. All I get back is we are looking into the problem with the manufacturer. No answers, I have two upset customers. It is so unacceptable. How can they stay in business with this type of lack of service? It is quite sad as the quality of the products are good,

Best printing service I've used. Good start. I'm looking forward to the app additions for multi-piece canvas prints and unframed canvas prints. I can do those on their website though in the meantime until the Shopify app has those capabilities.

We launched our shop in June 2020 and we have been using Prodigi for all our photographic printing and framing - The quality of the prints and frames has been really excellent. Hannah at Prodigi has been a brilliant support throughout this journey, highly recommend them!

Easy to use interface for making cards and excellent customer support from Ed. I will definitely be creating many more products using this app!

Yes, there are many apps you can use to get mockups for your designs but I love this app. The designs are great and the integration is seamless. The only thing is that their catalogue is limited. It'd be great if they added more products. A 5/5 for me.

Great app, more reliable than most we've used to date. The ability for auto fulfilment to be off and a feature for orders, once paid for, reviewed and/or edited by us could then be then sent to Prodigi instead of automatically on payment would make it a 5 star App

I am giving this app a 5 because I have tried to use printful and it is very surprising that they are so popular but not user friendly at all. You have to create a product template for every single product which for me would have taken an eternity. With prodigi you upload your Art-work and it automatically creates a mock-up for ALL the products they have available. You only turn on the ones you want to sell and make sure the image is properly placed but it's almost instant that you can have all your products listed on your page. I do wish they had different types of mugs on the app itself.

Lot of promise but support not good enough to build a business around. Simple queries not answered in a timely manner if at all.

Excellent app - *easily* the best in the market with super product quality and incredibly responsive customer support.

The app is incredibly easy to install and get started - just upload my band designs and we're up and running with a proper merch site.

I've tested the quality of the products and they are truly superb. Production is quick and easy with average times being around 2-3 days.

I don't have any technical experience so when it comes to creating product previews I want our band shirt to look as good as they can - the Prodigi app is miles ahead of the competition and I absolutely LOVE IT!

I've tried to use this app a few times, however, when I do I find the app keeps crashing and the SERIOUS LACK OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT show this app to be a waste of time..!!
Customer service only kicks in after deleting the app then one gets an email from Ed..Too little, too late...!!! VERY DISSAPOINTED...!!!

At first the costumer service from prodigi was there for me till I had published the website. I’ve had 3 errors in shipments, unfulfilled orders, packages that never arrived at etc: at this point costumer service is not responding and I am closing down the Webshop. Huge disappointment. And an immense waste of my time
