The customer service is probably the worst I have ever experienced. A very trivial bug prevented me from installing it on my stores, and after 2 full weeks of receiving e-mails from 15 different support reps with copy/paste e-mails asking for the same damn things over and over and over I lost my patience and restored the backups I fortunately made prior - this app will install code which the app does not remove on uninstall while claiming in their FAQ that they promise the residual code won't hurt your store....how Shopify can officially endorse this app on the community support pages is a mystery. STAY FAR AWAY from this trash.

The Bold product bundles is great at what it does (bundling products) but it is relatively confusing to install yourself if you are using any sort of template. I know how to program and 3 out of 4 of the install steps did not have code that was present in my liquid. The other option is to cough up $25 because their instructions were inadequate -- which is unfortunate.

My other main complaint is this. The main reason I wanted to have bundles available was to be able to see a complete bundle as if it were an item (i.e. the customer can add the entire bundle to the cart by clicking "add package X"). This feature does not seem to be available.

If you are looking for an "up sell" app --then this is for you. if you are looking for a true bundle app, then unfortunately I think Bold has several things they need to add to their product road map.

- Not compatible with their customer pricing app or at least "not suggested".

- Bundle pricing is not updating in my cart unless I refresh.

- Needed to get the custom install because my shop uses quick-shop.

- Can't delete my bundle.

I'm sure support will help fix these issues but those are issues I'm coming across.

Bold Bundles Team is very helpful. They try all the best to solve the problem. However, it is limitation of Shopify default. This Apps does not support Shopify discount codes, they cannot alive to function at the same time. It is really frustrated. This is not the fault of Bold, it is problem of Shopify.

The product bundles app fell short for what we were looking to do. Bold support is excellent and quick to respond so we still rated this review as a 4 star.

Great concept and we were looking to bundle accessories with our core product. Unfortunately, you can't pair the same accessory/product in multiple bundles. This might work for someone else if you just want to run a couple bundle deals with different products in each bundle. We also tried to set up a bundle by collections to see if that would allow our customer to pick their product in each category but the app would show the category/bundle option but you would have to go to each page of the product and add it by the regular add to cart button and in the end would not show the bundle discount in the cart. This seemed a little buggy on their end or it could just be the theme we use.

We may try their upsell app as it may be more what we are looking for.

App isn't always working, we had to apologize and refund clients for paying the full price without the discount. Others didn't buy from us because they had to pay the full price while they should have had a bundle discount.
Took customer service a week and they didn't find what the problem was. Free trial ends tomorrow, we decided not to pay for an app that isn't working.

Shocking service. Signed up for the 14 day trial, set up some bundles and was then told they needed to make some code changes to the site for the bundles to work correctly and needed access. This was given straight away and 13 days later the code changs still hasn't started so I can only assume this is a delay tactic so they can get your money. Avoid like the plague.
