Works as promised, although had a bit of trouble with my theme, but luckily the support was great.
Fast and responsive, and went the extra mile to make sure I was completely satisfied with the implementation.

Functional, but clunky.
The interface doesn't allow reordering options within a customization, so if you want to reorder or add an option anywhere but the bottom of the list, you have to delete your old options and retype them. Did your list include a typo? No problem - just delete everything after the typo and retype it all. For an app that supposedly offers unlimited customizations and options, this is an unforgivable oversight.
The interface doesn't allow a default that isn't the top field, so mid-range choices can never be the default without being out of order.
As of Feb 2014, the interface has an annoying bug that both displays the customization order in the control panel out-of-order from the actual final display and moves the wrong selections when you do move them. As a result, I'm unable to get my first customization to the top. For such a bare bones interface, I'd have expected this bug to never escape testing.
The customizer only allows selections in a long list - there's no ability to group customizations under headlines, include explanatory information between each option, or insert photos.
The interface doesn't distinguish between unmodified customizations and those you haven't saved yet, so you have to either keep track of what you've changed or re-save everything.
Product Customizer works... sorta.

We had a small issue with the app not working properly when we changed themes, but Daniel was able to quickly solve the problem and make some other fine tune adjustments for us. There are still a few things I wish the app could do better, but overall... it's a very good app and gets the job done for us.
Regarding another small update request, it was handled perfectly and quickly. Super app and support team.

We've been using this app for years with no difficulty. We had a recent issue with it after we updated our theme, but customer service fixed it within an hour of being notified of the issue. Excellent service.

Update 11/27/2021. After updating our site to a newer theme, many of the items did not work with the product customizer. The support is responsive at times and non responsive as well. -----------------------
The team has fixed the issue. If you having a problem where the customization is sold out at check out, please make sure the Item Customization is not modified and set to Archived and Draft. When this is set to archive, it will show that it is Out of stock.

I love this app and have been using it for a while now. I especially love the customer service. They respond promptly and contact you about possible issue before they even occur.
