Very useful and intuitive app, especially thanks to the constant release of new features that make product customization easier and more flexible. Support is fast, effective and extremely available in handling requests and implementing improvements. Recommended!

One of the very few apps we pay for right now. Given our products it's not practical to make tons of variants so this is pretty vital to how we handle upgrades and modifications. And Cassie from their team helped us out today getting a nonsensical bug with the email formatting fixed.

We recently installed Optis on our new website and it is working well so far. The Optis team were very quick to assist us with tweaks we needed during installation. It's allowed us to offer a much wider variety of options for our products with some useful conditional logic applied based on what the customer selects.

I was hoping the image swatch size could be made larger and the chat feature allowed a team member to help me do this within seconds. Very hepful and improved my website experience.

It seems to be the right fit for my products. There are many options that I present to my customers and it makes my website successful. People are willing to buy because they are truly getting something that fits their taste. It just makes the requirements of the web design quite demanding. I just started setting it up but OPTIS product options has got me on the right path after many days of trying to get it done right.

Great app with plenty of advanced features that will take your store to the next level. It gives you a lot of flexibility and control over product options and variants. I really wanted this to work smoothly, but my experience has been quite frustrating.

I built a custom solution myself because managing preorders through the app was very time-consuming. For every product variant, I had to manually set things up just to show “preorder” when stock hits zero. If you have a large catalog, this becomes extremely difficult to manage.

A simple automation — like automatically switching to “preorder” when variant quantity is 0 — would solve everything, but unfortunately, that functionality is still missing. I even upgraded to the platinum plan expecting better support or features, but nothing really changed.

Another issue is with the “Buy with Shop” button. Instead of directing users to a sign-in page first, it sends them straight to checkout, which disrupts the normal customer flow and creates confusion.

In the end, I had to fix everything on my own. I appreciate the idea behind the app, but it still lacks some basic, essential automation features that would make it truly useful for store owners handling multiple products.

First, regarding the preorder functionality: we completely understand your expectation for automatic switching when inventory reaches zero. However, this type of workflow falls under a more specialized preorder system. As mentioned in our previous conversations, our app focuses on product options and customization, and while we can help adjust the display (e.g., showing preorder on Add to cart button), full preorder automation typically requires a dedicated preorder app. We did our best to support and provide possible workarounds, but we understand it didn’t fully meet your needs.

Regarding the “Buy with Shop” button, we didn’t receive any report about this issue during your usage. In most cases, our app follows Shopify’s default checkout flow and does not override or alter the behavior of accelerated checkout buttons like “Buy with Shop.” Had we known earlier, we would have been more than happy to investigate and assist further.

We’re sorry that the app couldn’t fully deliver the experience you were expecting. That said, we’re glad we were able to provide a solution and compensation during the process.

Your feedback is valuable to us, and we’ll continue improving the app to better support merchants with more advanced needs in the future.

The application generally fulfills its intended purpose, however it keeps producing recurring errors, and we usually become aware of these issues only through customer feedback.
For example, a customer believes they have successfully placed an order, but the system does not actually add it.
Issues like this can happen every month.
I’m sorry, but due to the most recent problem, I experienced both financial loss and customer loss.
We should not have to constantly monitor your application to ensure it is functioning correctly.

So nice to be able to make diffrent options for your products! Basically letting my customer build their own product!
I had some trouble getting started with the Options, but after a quick chat with Cassie, she explained everything and not only did she solve my issues but i actually learned how to use the Options better. So now im confident i can solve my problems by my self from now on:-) And if i cant im sure the chat function will help me again.
