I am still learning how to use it, and do flounder around trying to figure out how to make this or that work. I'll have it all down pat, eventually. But meanwhile, I'll tell you what.....the customer service is BEYOND amazing. Whenever I get stuck, they are right there in the chat, and some of their reps have worked *very patiently* with me for HOURS and hours sometimes. So there is always great help no matter what you are trying to accomplish.

I got recommended using this app by a well known Shopify Agency in the US, and i have now come up with this review after using the app for about 3-4 weeks. First when installing the application there was limited resources in the live-editor with bad translation and lack of customization. I would much rather prefer English and be able to choose if i want automatic translation manually. I had to contact the support to help me fully install and customize the options as we wanted, with correct font, text, colors, graphic design etc. They were helpful with this, allthough i felt that the developers were sloppy with not reading through my description to the fullest wich ended up with some frustration from my part. Our biggest issue right now has to come with the price formatting. After a long contact with the support back and forth trying to explain this, it turns out that this app is globally changing the price formatting of the store, even on products that doesnt use the Hulk-Options. And they have no way to change this as of now. This is a very negative feature of their application. Their app should not interfere or change/apply anything other than a product using their Hulk-Options. I have asked the support to take this forward to their app developers as a future fix, and i hope they take this urgently. I would also like to comment their support. They always answer within 24 hours, wich is appreciated. But when it comes to their livechat i have a few things to point out.
- Poorly automated translation in their livechat.
- When contacting them with description, including video, screenshots and such, their developers always miss something wich makes me have to contact them again over, and over again.
- I also had a feeling of a language barrier when talking with their developers from India. It felt like my descriptions were not fully understood. To sum this up, so far our usage of this app could be explained by one word: Frustration. But we also want to give them kudos for being fast in the chat on answering our questions. Alltough there is alot to improve on this end. Positives:
+ Fast answers in chat.
+ They help with customization.
+ They help with installation. Negatives:
- They are sloppy followwing instructions/descriptions to the fullest even when providing screenshots, videorecordings, and text.
- Their app is globally injecting a span that changes the price formatting on the entire store, even on products not using their options. To quote their support: "We would not be able to remove it completely from the theme files for it not to apply to the non-option products.
It will affect the price code as the span is attached in the theme files globally for all the products." Future improvements:
- Fix for the priceformatting issue above.
- Either remove the automated translation both in the app dashboard and livechat or drasticly improve it.
- If a developer gets instructions, he/she should go through it carefully after completing the tasks, test it and making sure there is nothing he/she has missed out on. He can after this tell the client that the task is completed. Overall i will give this app 3 out of 5 stars. The last two stars is due to the price formatting issue. I will follow this matter carefully going forward and update this review if these issues is taken forward and improved on.

**UPDATE**
It has now been a few weeks since my last review post, and i unfortunetly have to say that i am deeply unsatisfied with the communication and the poor job done by the devs. I have only been in contact with one developer that has actually made things happening on the store, but i am still waiting for response from him. Time will tell how this ends up. I will follow up and update this review once anything new is happening.

-There is still a few things to change/improve and i have sent them documentaion of this
-Manual sync of options doesnt always work, and i have requested for Automatic syncing for future improvements. Especially for us who have big product catalogues with thousands of options. Automatic sync will be a must for us. I hope they will implement this feature soon.

Update 2023-01-27:
I have now been in contact with a great guy Bhavya that has helped us alot and also taken my previous feedback and implemented all above changes. I am now very pleased with the handeling of the situation. A big round of applauds to Bhavya!

The Support is marvelous- the developers would reply within a few hours and fix everything as wished. The translation of the App in German is really bad ... working on a German Store you dont know which button to click and which setting to make because the translations are so wrong... Using the app on a setup with many products offering different customizations, the various condition sets I had to create become a bit confusing... also it would be nice to see within the product itself in the backend which option set is being used. For me a the agency it is ok, but if my client would like to add a color to a product or any other option - they will always need me to do so... In total it is a cool App but needs definitely quite some more work on it....

The app loads a little slowly onto the site. They said its intentional. But it isnt ideal. Either way, it works very well. and Ive had very good customer support experiences with them. Very communicative and attentive helping me with things, they honesty didnt need to help me with.

This app is great to get add-ons for my menu. However, the app doesn't work with "automatic discounts". The app developer found a work around by adding a discount box before checkout, but it just works with discount codes. This is inconvenient for the customer as they need to manually enter the code. Customer service is super reliable. They engaged and stayed with the issue until they found a solution. They were professional, kind and helpful. It took weeks of back and forth, however, to get it done!

Unbelievable service and support, just wanted to say how amazingly quick you guys are, this app is everything i wanted in terms of product options, the only downside is that once you assign the Option Type and save it, you cant go back and edit the Option Type, you would have to delete it and create a new Option Type, not the end of the world and still a 10/10 app! recommended for every Shopify store, one way or another you will make a use out of this app :)
Also a real bummer is that you cant apply discount codes! after months of hard work making the custom options, we went to do a black friday sale and the discount codes dont work with this app... very sad, i have tried everything to get them working even using other apps but just doesnt work. if they fix this issue i will give them 10/10

I use this product to allow customers to choose multiple options for the products and add features at additional prices, it works really well and enables clean configurations and calculates price. It would be great if it accepted symbols as opposed to alphanumeric text only such as '-' or '+' etc. It would also be useful if it could construct a part number at the same time as configuring the options, it seems it's all there to be able to do this so would just require an additional field in the 'Options' setup.

Other than that it works great and saves a lot of time in reproducing products with different options.

This app is amazing. You can mold the app the way you want if you are familiar with Javascript. Only challenge our team is facing is that when customer add a customization then it's showing as line item on product and cart page. However, on cehckout page it show as a new product with "Customization for xxxx" title and a blank image for that customized product. That is the pain! The app should be able to display a giftwrap thumbnail instead of a blank image. As per Hulkapps support they don't have access to checkout page. Spoke to Shopify support and they said that the developer of Hulkapps can fix that. This is the only drawback. Hope Hulkapps will fix that asap.

All the files that your valuable customers' upload will be available on order history. Please take a look at your Shopify store's orders.

Just to put you on a perspective, we store the files on our servers. Also, there is no limit on maximum storage capacity!

I hired an expert to install this app for our store. We needed a drop down box on our product page. I like it for the most part, however, some customizations I need are not possible due to the way the app is programmed. I must say that support is very attentive and they do their best to help with all questions. I do recommend having an expert install the app for you if you are not confident in dong so yourself. It is a little confusing.
