We have been using the Product Option by Bold app for nearly a year. We are a large eComm site (for women’s fashion) with over 10,000 active product SKUs. Most of these products have very complicated option requirement as we heavily customize these products as per customer’s needs. The options a customer selects triggers a cascade of additional option because of the type of customizations we allow.

We looked at and evaluated a number of apps and came to a conclusion that no other app can really support the types of customization needs we have.

What was specially important for us is their customer service. The went over and above in solving a obscure need we had. The team seemed to be working round the clock on our ticket and handled each communication very very professionally.

I would HIGHLY recommend this team not just for their product but for awesome customer support

I spoke just now with a customer service representative who was so knowledgeable, helpful and sweet. Her name was, Kelsey. This app was a free trial, I decided to 'give a try', but today, Kelsey, helped me make the decision to keep the app. She has given the company a WONDERFUL first impression. I was having some issues with variant duplication. It turned out to be something I had entered twice but didn't see. She took her time to patiently dig to find out what was causing it and she fixed it for me. I am so appreciative. I am not very computer savvy. Her kindness and understanding was very nice. And, on Thanksgiving, at that. Happy Thanksgiving, Kelsey... and, the team. You are appreciated!

This app solved a major problem for us in that we needed to have an additional custom option for customers to add to their products that had an additional fee. We searched many apps for a solution that would work well for us, and the Product Options app is the best solution that fits our needs and makes buying from us even easier.

I can't say enough about the level of support we have received from the boldcommerce team. They have definitely gone above and beyond what I have experienced from ANY other app or even theme developer. They truly care about the success of their customers and it shows in their level of commitment to ensuring their solution is set up to meet your needs.

GREAT app, GREAT response time (95% of the time), and Product Options app is amazing! Ah, but I know what you're thinking: "why should I pay for an app when most carts have this built in". My answer: just TRY to get those other carts to make tweaks, fixes, and changes JUST for you. Won't happen. So, with add-on apps, like this one, you benefit from dealing with people who a) know their product and code inside-out, b) have a personal interest in being successful- this means it HAS to work or be fixed: and fixed now!, c) can help you tweak or fix issues, especially if there's a problem with the app and your chosen template in your store. Ok, maybe it ultimately costs us (and you) more per month than most other carts by adding one app after another, but, the strong benefit and most important thing is the ability to get help quickly on the parts you need, able to actually see feature request happen in a reasonable time frame (as opposed to almost never or almost forever like other carts), and the code in this app, like most other apps, can stay up to date with Shopify upgrades. This is beneficial since it allows Shopify to 'do what they do' and Bold apps can 'do what they do' concurrently, thus, everything still works during upgrades.

The Product Options app, especially the Premium version, is excellent. It works perfectly well, every time, all the time. That's just part of the reasons see 5 star ratings all over their apps: worth every penny, every month because it does what it says it does, all the time, very time....and very well!

Seriously these guys rock. I needed help getting the display to be where I needed it in my theme. Within 5 minutes of me sending an email, they went into my theme and added it for me.

I have used many Bold apps and they have greatly increased the function and style of my page. They are easy to use and set as well and I am not a tech savvy person. Where I had trouble, the Bold support teams were there to help. Each question wad answered quickly and they were all very friendly too.
