SC Product Options

My business, Handcrafted Honey Bee, sells DIY skin care kits. My original vision for the company was to have a website where the customer could customize their kit however they wanted--they could choose the color for their lip balms, for example, or the different flavors from a list we provided. I also wanted them to be able to upgrade their kits--for an extra charge, I imagined customers being able to add sweetening oil to lip balm kits, probiotics to deodorant kits, swap out apricot kernel oil for olive oil in our herbal salve kits...the list was endless. NO other app out there was able to do what I wanted, and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to bring my vision to life...until I found Product Options.
Not only was that app able to do EXACTLY what I wanted, but I was able to add conditional logic so customers could bypass the customization options if they wanted to keep it simple.
I love this app! It truly makes my business possible, exactly the way I want it. There's nothing out there like it, and it truly is a game-changing app for us.

I have a ton of Bold Apps. And every single time I've had an issue, troubleshooting to do, or just a simply question, I've had prompt, polite, and effective help.

Product Options has made all the difference between having a workable ecommerce site and a useless one. I need many variants for prints of different sizes, frame colours etc. The app works very smoothly when you master it - and the patient support helps you get to that point. However, in addition to paying the extra monthly subscription I have had to pay $600 to get the prices to change dynamically according to different options, as they do in the basic Shopify set-up. I am amazed that Shopify can offer an ecommerce site that does not automatically include such essential features. It is a weird business model that offers a product that does not really work unless you buy a second product from another supplier to remedy its defects, costs as much and takes a lot of time and effort to learn.

Very flexible app and great support. Interface is quite a learning curve and not intuitive, but if you persevere you can have a lot of power without learning to code or hire custom dev. work.

Love the ease of use and functionality of the app. Great for anyone needing customization of their products. Quick customer support a major bonus!

Great ap, allows you to create mix and match options easily.

Support after installing is incredibly awesome! We opened a ticket for an item which we couldn't fix, and Bold fixed it for us in absolutely lighting fast time. I installed this app initially with the basic product options and was very impressed with it. I paid to have the code implemented for me, it took a couple of days and I received a nice email confirming it had been done. My requirements grew and I upgraded to the advanced version. Again, I had the code implemented and it was quick and painless. Another nice email.
From a functionality perspective, I sat through the video and refreshed my memory by watching it again a few months on. It's logical, easy to use and looks pretty good on the site too. I'm looking forward to getting my teeth into the additional functionality the advanced version offers.
One thing I'm really excited about it having the ability for customers to upload an image. Can't wait for this function to go live on the site.
