Ok, after getting the app set up and using it for a bit, I need to update my review with a couple things I feel others should be aware of. These things may or may not be an issue for your shop, but as a pretty small shop that makes/fulfills their items (instead of a 3rd party) - here are my issues; 1. It's not possible to use the "create new product" option in settings, I have to use the "create draft order" for any item with a price change/upgrade. Why? Because the "create new product" won't work with my shipping profiles - because the "new" product technically doesn't fall into a managed shipping profile. If you just use the General Shipping profile covering all your items and have that set up for weight/etc. this likely won't be an issue for you (I have mine set up for pricing to bundle items because some ship free with others). 2. Since my only option is the "create draft order" option I have to MANUALLY fulfill every order with a price increase. The personalization doesn't fulfill automatically when the item is fulfilled by my shipping app. AND, I couldn't put the price variant in Shopify, because when I did that, other features of the app stopped working. Again, I'm a small shop running a custom template, so while this isn't a deal breaker per se, it is a pain in the a** and it does throw off order stats. 3. For some reason, the app takes over as the sales channel when personalized items are purchased - so it's not immediately clear to me where the sale came from (data needed for advertising reasons), which again, is not ideal. 4. It turns custom packing slips into a 3-page novel (ha!) - I've been able to clean mine up some but I'm still working to reduce redundant line items.

Despite these issues, it still is the most robust personalizer out there - my hope is the developers continue to make updates so while the front end is flawless, my back end won't continue to be a mess. I ended up hand-coding product options on another site I own, and while not as elegant as this app, it does work perfectly front to back, so I will give this some time to see how it effects conversions before deciding to keep it indefinitely. Again, customer service is very responsive, and if you're running a Shopify template with no upcharges to items and 3rd party fulfillment, this will likely work perfectly for your needs.

Sakib was very quick to respond and was very friendly. Unfortunately the app does not support the feature i was hoping for but he let me know the information would be forwarded to the relevant people for investigation in the future. Thank you Sakib!

We are new to the App and still setting it up, but the support team have been brilliant and are questions (lots of them) were answered quickly and really well with imagery and often further suggestions to help. Based on this would highly recommend them.

This app does exactly what I needed it to do, i.e. create customisable products. Really happy with it. I would suggest 1 update to the app: an easier way to create image sets. One currently needs to add each new item separately. What I would like to do is select a range of images and with one action create a new image set. Similarly for font sets (select a bunch of fonts and create a new font set with all of them)

Nazirul, Muhtasim, and Shahariare have all been VERY helpful in answering my questions to make my custom product EXACTLY how I wanted it to look for my customers!

Definitely recommend this app just because of the amazing customer service alone! Only reason for 4 stars is the original setup took some time.

So far the overall experience has been pretty good. Fairly easy to implement, and I was finally able to optimize a single test product, but I needed customer support to do so. It's not perfect but it will suffice for now. There are some areas where you have limited capabilities that I hope will addressed in the near future.

Be mindful if you have an API connection that utilize existing fields. You are going to need developer help to sync the two. For the time being, I'm utilizing a preview field only and had the Zepto help to remove the add to cart button (quick fix).

Regarding support, Muhtasim is my guy and he helped me through this initial stage and was prompt. So that's a big plus.

I do recommend this app. Not 100% sure this will be our long-term fix but we will get mileage out of it for the near term.

Very good app for the personalization of products. The only thing missing is on the multilingual that is not supported.

We're still in the process of getting our custom site set up, but so far, so good. Support on this app has been great - we found a few issues with the image uploads while testing on mobile and the developer was responsive and fast with fixes. Thanks!

Updated May 6, 2020 - We have experienced a few instances now where products that had previously been working fine developed new issues in Personalizer. First an image group stopped loading, and now Windows/Chrome users have lost anti-aliasing on the fonts. Support is always quick and helpful, but it is concerning to have to keep going back and re-testing things that used to work.

I had some trouble using this app at first because there was a compatibility issue with my client's site. It did take quite a while to receive support initially, but after some time, the Product Personalizer support team was able to resolve the problem. I especially appreciate the support I received from their dev team and Al Amin Khan – they were super helpful! In general, this app is the best, most robust option for anyone who wants to sell personalized products. It has tons of options to fit pretty much any use case. So, as long as you have the patience to get it working, it's a great app!
