Great service, great tools and great support team. Been using Bold since day-1. I very much appreciated having direct support from Jay, co-founder of Bold. Bold support team confirmed they successfully implemented the offers we asked them to on January 14th, 2026. From that day through Jan our add to cart and completed checkout rates have dropped by 70% due to interruption with our code. I highly don't recommend this app.
Very fast and very attentive customer support!
At first, I had a few issues with the app and wasn’t too happy, but the team reached out to me personally to offer support. I’ve got to say, it turned out to be the best customer service I’ve ever had from an app developer!
Jay took the time to walk me through the best ways to use the app for my shop’s needs and even helped me set it up in real time so I could start working right away. They made me feel like I was their only customer, and it’s such a great feeling to know someone’s really on your side

I've almost never seen as shop that didn't see solid ROI when they have high quality upsell offers setup on the product page, cart drawer, in checkout, and the one-click post purchase offers.
I'm excited to see what we can do with your store! I guarantee I can get it to make 10X more money than it costs. If not, I'll pay for it myself!

UPDATE: Jay had a call with me directly and helped me to go through some upsells, and was then able to resolve an ongoing issue that was affecting the performance of the app on my site.
Not getting the revenue in to make it worth the cost of the app, and haven't really ever since the app updated.
Good morning! I'm sure we can fix this problem 💪. Most stores see minimum 10X ROI, some are well over 100X. I looked at your store and I know without a doubt we can do the same. It may just be how you had it set up, the products being recommended, or triggers need to be adjusted.
I'm one of the co-founders here and I'll personally help you set it up, and if I can't get it making 10X what it costs you, I'll make it free! That's how confident I am.

BOLD Upsell has been a really useful tool for what we were looking to achieve. The pop-ups are super easy to set up, and the SMART offers feature has been a great addition as well. While we haven’t seen a huge uptake just yet, I’m confident it will improve as we continue to use it.
The Support team has been fantastic - quick to respond and genuinely helpful. Navdeep in particular has been great, always checking back in to make sure everything’s running smoothly.

I found this app to be far too expensive for what I needed. After installing it, I barely used it for about two weeks, yet my next bill (due September 9) was already showing $71 owed as of August 21. It was difficult to know what the final amount would be by the billing date.
On the positive side, the app is very feature-rich and clearly capable of handling a wide range of upselling functions. However, the setup process requires a significant investment of time and effort—several days, in my estimation—which I was not willing to commit.
Overall, this is a good app if your goal is to build out extensive upselling infrastructure, but it wasn’t the right fit for me. I would have rated it one star, but that wouldn’t be fair since I should have paid closer attention before committing.

Super easy to use and a great app, my store has performed so much better since I started using the different featurs offered through this!
Price is too high. And I wish the upsale would work at checkout. Now that shopify has updated to their one step checkout. We have lost that feature (unless there is something we are missing)
Also would like to have more control over the design. Its very limited.
