This app has been WONDERFUL! Communication is GREAT! I am always able to receive quick help via the chat box or set up a zoom call! Customer service receives an A+!
The platform is very simple to use! We are a collaborative shop that has 35+ vendors and each of them have expressed that PuppetVendors is their favorite platform to work with!

Disappointing Experience – Usability Issues
While the app has potential, it suffers from fundamental usability issues that make it impractical for us to use for most of our vendors.
Key Issues:
1. Commission Assignment Visibility
o The app allows assigning commissions by percentage or dollar amount per product, but once assigned, product names are truncated to only the first word.
o Example: If selling pet products, items like "Dog Bowl," "Dog Leash," and "Dog Collar" all display only as "Dog," making it impossible to distinguish between them.
o The only alternative is using SKUs, but this becomes impractical when dealing with hundreds of variant SKUs.
2. Product Search Flaw (Partially Fixed)
o Initially, the search feature displayed every product containing the search term, including inactive products, with no way to filter them out.
o If the desired product wasn’t in the first set of results, there was no way to select it.
o This issue was eventually addressed but was surprising, given the app has been available for years.
Overall Experience:
We reported the commission assignment issue early in our trial period, yet a month later, it remains unresolved. Additionally, the last update was on March 4th, meaning no progress has been made since our trial ended. This lack of responsiveness is disappointing, and unless improvements are made, I cannot recommend the app.
Update 24/03/25: The issue "1.Commission Assignment Visibility" was fixed Friday 21/03 after leaving this review on the 19/03 so now works as one would expect. Thankyou

This is exactly what we needed to launch our marketplace at www.cocktaillife.co.uk . We can easily manage our vendors, vendors have a simple dashboard to use and it's simple to payout the money from sales! Martin has been an amazing support and is always on hand to help! I highly recommend using puppetvendors!

I have been using this app for a few weeks and have been enjoying it very much. My vendors are finding it very user friendly and straightforward and I have not heard any complaints!
On the merchant side it is very easy to understand and use, and integrates seamlessly with the main Shopify site.
The cherry on top are the amazing people behind it. I had the pleasure to work with Martin to optimize the app features for my needs and he has been so very helpful and available! He listened to my needs and delivered everything we agreed on in a very timely manner. I highly recommend this app and I can see my business growing with it.

Two weeks in and I am impressed with the app. Working with Martin has been easy and helpful. There are some areas I'd like to see work better for my business model but they are all minor. Overall I recommend this app if you're managing a marketplace with your store.

I'm very happy with this software. I have a startup consignment shop and I am using this to track my customers inventory and the amount I owe each of them. It's an added bonus that they can log in and see what's sold, what items remain in the store, and details on what they're owed. I have around half of consignors sign up to see their online portal.
