We constantly sell out and had to take pre orders which shopify is completely not set up for...and when we had delays, we had to manually email everyone (even with klaviyo, some emails get listed, hard to figure out which orders are pre order, etc). it was just a nightmare! Purple Dot is a life saver! Now pre orders are so much easier to manage, and it's easy to communicate to everyone on the status of their order and clients like that they dont' get charged until they ship. I like that it's charged per order and not a monthly subscription. Highly recommend

This app has been very easy to install and operate on our own. When we do run into issues (like the app working with other apps) the customer service is fast, efficient and personal, and I can always get them on a call or via email almost immediately. That alone makes this app worth it as many of these add ons have little to no service. Highly recommend!

Purple Dot has been a godsend in better managing our business by enabling pre-orders.

The furniture industry inherently has issues when it comes to inventory availability and delays that can affect the landing of goods, customs clearance and shipping, therefore being able to take orders from clients and to communicate the pre-ship status has helped reduce the amount of customer service inquiries that we receive.

We love Purple Dot. Could not recommend this App enough. It does everything we need it to and our customers just love it. It seamlessly works with Shopify holding all our pre-orders until stock arrives. Their team support is off the charts....

What I love about this app is that the customer doesn't pay for the goods until it's ready to ship. We felt that this was really important in todays market. It's super simple to use and I prefer paying for each transaction rather than a monthly amount as we have so many apps!
Having it installed means that we don't miss out on those important sales!

I had a challenge with Shopify separating regular orders from the Purple Dot orders and Shopify was not able to assist. Purple Dot Zach came to the rescue. Not only did he listen carefully, advise of the solution, he even checked back with me to confirm everything was good. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys. And did I mention, USA Support !!
