We moved from WooCommerce to Shopify in February, and the Lay-Buys team then developed the gateway so the transition was possible and we could continue offering our customers online Layby.
Key beneficial attributes has been return customers coming back to ABABY and ordering other baby goods on LAY-BUY. LAY-BUY has also shown to upsell products at checkout because of the affordability the customer is offered.

I love this app! Warrin is quick to answer any problem you may have, providing excellent customer service. This app is very easy to set up and is very user friendly.
Works really well. Our products have a reasonably high price point for an e commerce store and we wanted to remove as many barriers to purchase as possible. We set the parameters pretty tight so we only give one time frame option and they have to put down a 50% deposit. But all in all since we installed it about two weeks ago we've had 10 Lay Buy sales that we probably wouldn't have had. A bit tricky to install and but Warrin the developer was super helpful and very quick at responding. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
This is a great app. Easy to set up and works well. I contacted them with a question about a transaction and received a response within half an hour.
Lay Buys has filled a need for diversity of payment options on our website for over a year now. We've never had any issues with customers struggling to understand the process and whenever I've contacted customer service, I've always received a speedy response. I also love the lack of a monthly subscription.
Some of the reviews here mystify me a bit - the whole point of a lay by is that you're paid in installments by the customer and they don't receive their product till they've paid in full - it's not a credit service. Hence the name 'Lay Buys'. Not sure if this is the right service if that's only what you're looking for. We have both on our site - more options for our customers.

AMAZING customer service!! I was having issues with getting it up and running so I contacted the inventor. He found the error, rectified the problem and I was up and running in no time. My customers love this and so do I! Highly recommend!
I had been looking for an option to offer layaway via our commerce store and Lay Buy to the rescue. The set up is a little involved, but well worth it. Support was great! I highly recommend it.
I've had at least 3 sales this month already I probably wouldn't have gotten without this system.
As my product is imported it's quite expensive comparably, although unavailable in the EU the price is often a reason people don't purchase.
Now with 2 smaller payments some people seem more interested.
Customer Support is excellent, considering they're Australia-based I've had assistance at 11pm their time! Which amazed me.
This is a great app addition to my shop! I love offering this flexible payment option and that it is priced fairly for all involved.

Would be great to extend payments to allow for lease situations, something I'm I would like to offer also!

I've had this app for a month or so now and I'm finding it very helpful for my customers who want to pay off in instalments over a period of time. It works well and I think that I've had more customers since I've had this app. I did have a little problem over the weekend but it was down to the customers bank card. I got in touch with Warrin, explaining what was happening and he was really helpful. It may take a little while to get a response but please be patient as this guy is in OZ and time difference means he's probably asleep while here in the UK, I'm just starting my day. But fear not, he will get to you and your issues. I myself, found him polite and helpful. All issues are now dealt with and I'm more than happy to recommend the app.
