App went offline for some hours. Upselling bonus stopped working during this period - the effect on sales you can imagine. An effect on customer trust as well as the announcement of the bonus still was displayed. The app seems to have problems in its general set up.

You are absolutely right, displaying a bonus that isn't functioning is a breach of trust, and the impact on your sales is unacceptable. We let you down during a critical window.
We have identified the server issue that caused the outage and are currently auditing our infrastructure to ensure the app's stability is rock-solid moving forward.

Update:
Technical reaction of app provider immediate. Acc. to them issue was most likely caused by temporary connectivity delays between their server and our location, which could result in the app taking longer to load or briefly appearing unavailable. They said to now have optimized their infrastructure and routing to improve stability and loading speed, so this situation should not happen again.
Reaction:
From 1 to 3 stars due to immediate reaction. If app and discounts now work properly upgrade back to 5 stars will follow.
Update 2:
All running smoothly now.
Reaction: Upgrade from 3 to 5 stars, as chat and dev team obviously did a good job. Will keep the app and embed it deeper by implementing further discounts. Problems are there for being solved.

We ran our largest newsletter of the year and the app stopped showing the discount when we ran over a limit we didn't know existed. We found out 4 hours later and this awful app ended up costing us thousands of dollars in lost sales we can't get back. Do NOT use this app or you will get screwed too!

I’m truly sorry for the disruption during your newsletter campaign and understand how frustrating and costly that was. The discount stopped showing because the free plan’s usage limit was exceeded, which paused the feature.
Regarding the notifications: our usage alerts didn’t reach you because the email on your account was unsubscribed from our messages. We should have ensured critical service emails (like quota warnings) are delivered even if marketing emails are unsubscribed, and we’re improving this now so important notices aren’t missed.
