After installing the The QuickBooks Desktop app it has work seamlessly from the start. We have had some SKU/Item mapping issues, mainly do to operator error, and the Parex Tech Team responded promptly and solved our issues very quickly. Highly recommend this app, the customer service is amazing.
Wow, after spending seven and a half weeks working with Shopify to connect my Quickbooks Desktop to their connector with no luck, I was able to get the job done in less than a week with this app. The support was excellent and what a relief to know that this app really does work! I just wish I had started with this app weeks ago.
After 4 months of challenges with the Intuit Desktop Connector app that Quickbooks wanted us to use, this app actually works. The customer service is excellent.
I would definitely recommend Parex. We had been using Connex and after they raised their prices, it was just too expensive. I also didn't find it to be seamless and we would often have inventory updates that wouldn't push from QB to Shopify and our inventory counts were totally screwed up. Parex has been really great so far. It took a little bit of work to set up because we have a lot of specific needs, but Utkarsh was incredibly patient, helpful and responsive to all of my questions and tweaks as they would arise. The app is seamless and we have had no hiccups at all with sales not syncing or with inventory updates. I'm very happy with it. And I really can't say enough about the customer service. They were so helpful and easy to work with. I definitely recommend this app.
Initially, there were a few technical issues to iron out, but the tech support is pristine, responsive and very helpful. The app works very well now!
I switched to this app several months ago after trying another one. I LOVE this app. Utkarsh and Team worked diligently to make sure all the details I needed were set up correctly, and working properly from Shopify to QB Desktop. They were professional, courteous, extremely hardworking, and incredibly patient as we tried different things, and worked through some challenges. The customer service is exceptional. They did everything to tweak their product to work for me and very quickly too. I highly recommend this company. Their app has been immensely helpful in cutting down the time I spend balancing my Quickbooks as everything is automatically there for me.
The developers of this app are very easy to work with when you have questions or concerns with connecting Shopify to QB Enterprise. They made sure everything worked correctly and to my satisfaction. I highly recommend this app and this group of developers! This app has been the highlight of using Shopify!
On its own, Shopify will sync with only 1 revenue and 1 COGS account. If you have multiple accounts, then I highly recommend using Parex' QB Desktop Sync. There is nowhere to setup the accounts in Shopify, but when Shopify syncs with QBD, it uses the Item information in QBD. So, if you set revenue and COGS accounts in QBD, sales reports will use those accounts. As you get started, I suggest you setup a report of sales and sort the report by Revenue Account to find the Items that have no revenue account defined. As soon as you add the account to the item, the reports will reflect that change. Do the same for COGS accounts.
Parex support has been extremely responsive and helpful. Far and above anything Shopify offers. I was concerned when I found out it uses Intuit's QB Web Connector, but it has been working reliably for us for 2 months now. The only glitch we've had is when Intuit let the certificate expire or be revoked and it was Parex support who provided us the link with an easy fix.
I do wish the documentation were a bit more detailed as to what impact the various settings have, but it does provide the basics of all the options. I love everything else about the program, especially the responsive support, which seems to be nearly impossible to find these days.
This app works flawlessly to integrate QB desktop with Shopify, it saves us hours of work everyday. and their customer service is unmatched, they respond to any issue within hours and it always gets resolved right away.
Highly recommend if you would like all Shopify orders and transactions copies exactly into QB.
