On its own, Shopify will sync with only 1 revenue and 1 COGS account. If you have multiple accounts, then I highly recommend using Parex' QB Desktop Sync. There is nowhere to setup the accounts in Shopify, but when Shopify syncs with QBD, it uses the Item information in QBD. So, if you set revenue and COGS accounts in QBD, sales reports will use those accounts. As you get started, I suggest you setup a report of sales and sort the report by Revenue Account to find the Items that have no revenue account defined. As soon as you add the account to the item, the reports will reflect that change. Do the same for COGS accounts.
Parex support has been extremely responsive and helpful. Far and above anything Shopify offers. I was concerned when I found out it uses Intuit's QB Web Connector, but it has been working reliably for us for 2 months now. The only glitch we've had is when Intuit let the certificate expire or be revoked and it was Parex support who provided us the link with an easy fix.
I do wish the documentation were a bit more detailed as to what impact the various settings have, but it does provide the basics of all the options. I love everything else about the program, especially the responsive support, which seems to be nearly impossible to find these days.
We have now been using this app to connect and transfer sales & inventory adjustment data from our Shopify Account into our QuickBooks Desktop Premier company file for over a week. WORKS GREAT!!! Tech support is OUTSTANDING!!! I had a few hiccups in the beginning, but these were mainly due to my lack of accounting knowledge. Once Utkarsh helped me to better understand what each setting would do for me, it was very easy to set-up and use!!! Utkarsh was very patient and always got back to me quickly! Highly recommend. Worth every penny!!!
I switched to this app several months ago after trying another one. I LOVE this app. Utkarsh and Team worked diligently to make sure all the details I needed were set up correctly, and working properly from Shopify to QB Desktop. They were professional, courteous, extremely hardworking, and incredibly patient as we tried different things, and worked through some challenges. They had answers for everything, and this app works exactly how I need it to work. It does everything I need it to do. Thank you, thank you! Recommend 100%!
Just added Wholesale Order Form app that was not compatible with previous solution. This one is! Easy set up, fast support and fast integration work to make our QB invoice look like it always did. If set up options do not seem to offer what you want, just ask support about it. Aces for us.
Set up took less than 15 minutes and the app worked great from the start. Support was able to make a few changes for us the same day. We tried several different Shopify to QuickBooks syncing apps - this one has been the best yet!
The setup is simple, the connection is stable, and it works exactly as it should. We now have all of our orders syncing with QuickBooks! Customer support is very responsive and has addressed any issue we've had within 24 hours—definitely a company you can trust. Install with confidence, My only slight complaint (which is not necessarily this softwares fault) is large volume stores may have an issue with syncing payouts if you are using Right Networks to host your Quickbooks. Right Networks will disconnect after 2 hours of inactivity and this software requires the sync to be running non-stop for longer (8 hours a day) for stores with lots of daily sales.
This is the BEST Quickbooks Desktop app available! EXCELLENT tech support the few times I've needed it and easy, seamless use. We previously used Connex and they kept jacking up the price until it was over $300 per month!! This app is WELL worth the price. I can't say enough good things about it!
This app works flawlessly to integrate QB desktop with Shopify, it saves us hours of work everyday. and their customer service is unmatched, they respond to any issue within hours and it always gets resolved right away.
Highly recommend if you would like all Shopify orders and transactions copies exactly into QB.
With something that syncs financial data its extremely important that its stable and has good support. This app has been very stable and the sync meets our needs. When we hit an issue with sales tax caused by another app integration the team worked hard to resolve and we are very happy with the app and support.
Excellent customer service! I had a pretty serious issue with how my sales tax was reporting, and once I figured out what needed to be done, the Quickbooks Desktop team made it happen so fast!
