Works great with little effort, saves me a bunch of time. Highly recommend!!
I used this app for many years and was a happy customer. But recently they did a "upgrade" and it no longer performs properly. Tech support is very limited - difficult to get anyone on the phone, and when you do they are inexperienced and have to escalate to the next level. Still waiting for an answer. So in the meantime I am looking for alternatives. If you have products from multiple vendors and need them to go to specific line items instead of ALL into ONE line item, DO NOT USE THIS APP.
Used to be free, now it isn't. Not only has this move prompted me to find an alternative to this app but I'll also be looking to change from QBO as well. Honestly, it's just greedy.
It's really helpful who are using QuickBooks & Shopify, Easy to integrate & I love it. I recommend this app.
We appreciate the functionality of the "FREE" tier of this app so far with keeping our books accurate to the payouts. As we continue to expand and orders increase - having to pay a monthly fee on top of everything (even as a paying Quickbooks Online customer) - and depending on what that volume is - is frustrating. I do consider those fees accommodating for the continual improvement, monitoring and support for this app independently as it provides "as-needed" functionality per business that I assume Quickbooks themselves do not have to deal with. I can't punish Bold Apps for that. I can wish there was a more thorough integration between the two (like connecting clients and customers viewable through the Shopify admin side - like the Insightly/Quickbooks integration - and viewing invoices or sales receipts that coordinate to that customer).
Issue after issue with syncing to QBO, If i can't get this resolved this week i will choose another app... Seriously Bold, you are charging me for this App but you never want to help!
A smart app, but unfortunately one that maps the SKU name in Shopify to the Name in Quickbooks, meaning that if your Name= Name, and SKU= SKU, it imports every item as a service and takes copious amounts of my time to adjust every invoice manually.
I'm going to start manual imports and will revisit this app if this problem is fixed.
The app does not sync, it pushes data from Shopify to Quickbooks. It uses name matching to push data that is very specific, so set up can be fussy. I struggled at first with BOLD's email support, but when we were unable to resolve the issue there they called me and walked me through it. . If you run inventory and want to keep Shopify and Quickbooks in sync, be aware that data is only pushed and getting the sync to work properly can be tricky. Best is if you can set the items up in Shopify first, then run a transaction to export them, then use the exported items in Quickbooks to set the items up there. Any other method, and the names need to match and follow the formula exactly. If your item has special characters, email BOLD Support in advance for the set up tricks or these items will not match initially.
BOLD purchased this app from Quickbooks and they are aware of some of the set up issues. Once it flows, it flows. But hopefully now that this is in the hand of a real developer, better functionality and set up are on the horizon.
I'm extremely disappointed with this app!! It should be free because I have subscription with Quickbooks outside Shopify, I'm not prepared to pay double the price a month just to sync the transactions! This is ridiculous!!
Excellent app, works great, easy to set-up and syncs our Shopify sales to QuickBooks seamlessly. And the best party, it's FREE!
