Automated expense and invoice creation is a god send and huge time saver!
We were loving having our Shopify connected to our Quickbooks, but we just received word that there was going to be a fee imposed on us. We have been using the feature for a couple of years, and it is part of the reason we switched to Shopify in the first place. Despite the fact that we really don't do a ton of sales per month, since they are charging per interaction with Quickbooks, it looks like that automatically puts us in the $30 PER MONTH range, and we will not be having it. This development also brings into question our commitment to Shopify in the first place.
Total garbage. It stopped syncing repeatedly. We fixed it. Then it stopped syncing because suddenly there were duplicate tax agencies for Washington State. Shopify, QBO and BOLD all blamed each other and none took responsibility to fix the app and problem. After several weeks they finally fixed it. Then it stopped syncing again!!! When I manually restarted the sync it lost transaction date data in QBO. During the course of using this app I paid hundreds of extra dollars to my accountant to have her un-screw all the stuff that this app screwed up. Total waste of time, money and energy. DO NOT GO WITH THIS APP.
Read the reviews! Transactions don't export like they're supposed to. No option for chat for support only e-mail. This is by far the worst app that I have in my store.
This has been one of the easiest to set-up and most perfectly operating apps I've ever used. The Shopify deposits are held in the holding account until they are matched in my banking and all fees are accounted for. Barring a complicated, unique use application I don't know how you could ask for more.
This app has failed me more than once; it suddenly stopped importing sales. Their support team eventually "helped" by importing sales date, but all the data was doubled or tripled replicated, and as there is no "bulk delete" for sales transactions, I had to go in manually and delete all the duplicates. It was a nightmare that took me TWO days to correct. And now, boom, same issue is happening. Don't use this app.
i'm a bookkeeping and have to reconcile sales. I spend hours trying to figure out the deposits. They never match reports and it's always a big mess.
Ever since BOLD has taken this app over it has been a complete joke.
Have been dealing with many integration issues and missing info not being brought over from shopify. Have been working with bold since september to no avail. Since we have been having those issues, many other issues have risen and now it is slowing down multiple areas of my business causing extra problems and costing me more money.
Good luck trying to get ahold of them on the phone, every option sends you to a voicemail. They are very unresponsive in emails and the longer this problem has gone on, the less i hear from them.
They used to give me a 2 week deadline as to when it would be looked at or fixed, now they don't contact me at all until i email multiple times after waiting a month. Going on close to 5 months now without any solutions.
I had some issues with my Quickbooks online syncing correctly all of a sudden. After spending time on the phone both with Shopify and Quickbooks, the guys as BoldApps pinpointed the problem quickly and I was able to get back up and running in 48 hours. Very knowledgeable and fast to respond!
