Sorry to hear that our app breaks your theme but as mentioned on the first use of the app "you have to create a backup of your theme before using our app", so i hope you didn't skip this step.

Also can you please specify wich part of your store images you had faced the problem with it,
because our app supposed to keep the original image if the new one is larger (and that means that the original one is already optimized), in the products and collections sections
