Rapid AI Search Bar & Filter

We needed a cheaper alternative to our current app, which recently hiked its prices dramatically. Don't get me wrong, that app had tons of features, but we hardly used most of them. Our main focus was on having a sleek and interactive instant search and a customizable search page.

Enter Rapid Search: it offers all the essentials at an affordable price that scales with your number of users, which is fair. We didn't require feature such as filter collections since Shopify 2.0 handles that well, but it is even included. It may not be as customizable as Searchanise (aka Smart Search & Filter) and lacks certain features like hiding products using tags instead of selecting them individually. Integration with other apps like Judge.me is also needed. However, overall, installing the app is a breeze, the admin interface is simple yet efficient, and if you're not into deep customization, it gets the job done nicely. Plus, they have a feature request tab where users can suggest and vote for new additions, which is reassuring for the future.

After trying four other options, it's the best alternative to the leading app I mentioned earlier. Give it a shot!

We installed this app a few months ago and love it, the search function is much more accurate than the default Shopify search function. The search results are well organized, this has made searching our website much easier for our customers and they are finding more products. We also just set up the custom search bar for easy access to doing searches. Matt in Tech Support just provided me with excellent support to set this up just the way I wanted it within minutes! Great app, great support - I recommend it highly!!

The app does everything we need and more, the settings are easy to edit, it's super fast (instant) and looks great.
Better still the customer service is outstanding. Matt has gone above and beyond to answer our (often difficult) questions quickly and clearly and even developed more features on the app so that it better suits our needs. the team encourages feedback and actually implements the changes effectively!
I definitely recommend this app to anyone looking for an effective and efficient search and filter function for a large store.

Love this app because it made my store faster and they helped me get it working in my store. The dashboard shows the sales from it so it will be fun to watch it grow. It also shows what people are searching. With that said, I have 2 important feature requests - I want it to show the results by SALES not popular searches. I also want the merchandising feature to show a collection.

Usefull in a sense that it shows directly in the search-box the quantity available and whether a product is new, and it immediately shows some results (popular products) even without typing anything in the search-box.
It is quite a new app, and there was a little bug, but help was very fast through chat and the issue was resolved within a couple of minutes.
App is enabled on my store, and looking good :)
