Rebuy has been incredibly easy to use and hasn’t required any major dev work to achieve our cart and merchandising goals. What’s made an even bigger impact is the support - we’ve been lucky to work with such a dedicated CSM like Maria, who’s been instrumental in bringing ideas to life. I’ve shared inspiration from other brands I’d love to test on our store, and she, along with the launch team, consistently helps make those ideas a reality. We’re truly grateful for the partnership.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after our experience I feel other merchants should be aware of the risks.

A deployment made by Rebuy caused a critical issue on our Shopify store which prevented customers from accessing and using the cart. The issue effectively stopped customers from completing purchases and had a significant impact on our trading until it was identified and rolled back.

To Rebuy's credit, their support team eventually acknowledged that the issue was related to an update released from their side and subsequently reverted the change. However, the incident should never have happened in the first place, particularly given that Rebuy was not even responsible for our cart functionality.

What has been equally disappointing is the handling of the matter afterwards.

The outage escalated internally to Board level due to the commercial impact on our business, yet resolving the issue required repeated chasing, long delays between responses, and multiple escalations to senior management.

After weeks of discussions regarding compensation, Rebuy ultimately agreed to release us from our 36-month contract but offered no financial compensation for the disruption caused by an outage that they themselves acknowledged originated from a Rebuy deployment.

The platform itself may work well for some merchants, but our experience exposed a concerning level of operational risk. Any third-party app capable of interfering with core checkout journeys should be subject to extremely rigorous testing before updates are pushed live.

Based on our experience, I would urge merchants to carefully consider both the technical risks and the level of accountability they can expect if something goes wrong.

Rebuy is much more than just a standard cart cross-sell app—it’s an end-to-end revenue generator. Since installing it, we’ve achieved a 5-figure lift in revenue using a combination of the Smart Cart, Checkout Cross-Sell, Post-Purchase upsells, and dynamic bundling. The features are powerful, but the support makes it even better. Our CSM is a wealth of knowledge and goes above and beyond to teach us how to fully optimize the app for maximum ROI.

Rebuy has been an amazing service for our brand. The updated features in the smart cart are awesome, and has really boosted our bottom line. The CSM and overall support we have is second to none. Responsiveness and attention to detail is a very important asset and Rebuy executes both very well.

We are revising my previous rating to reflect a significant turnaround in our experience with Rebuy. Following our initial feedback, Cole and Diana reached out to facilitate a call where we could openly discuss the technical and account-related hurdles we were facing.

The technical issues were addressed directly by Lam, who provided the level of responsiveness and expertise we were looking for. Additionally, Cole and Diana were incredibly understanding regarding our account concerns and took the steps necessary to ensure the platform provides the clear value required for our business.

It is rare to see a team take such proactive ownership of a customer’s experience. Because of their transparency and the technical resolutions provided, We've have decided to maintain our store’s partnership with Rebuy. We appreciate the team for stepping up and proving they are committed to supporting their users.

I'm a small business owner and we installed Rebuy just over a month ago. The smart cart is fantastic and a very good tool to increase average order value. I am still setting up the bundle builder but just the smart cart has blown me over. The support team is also brilliant and I can genuinely say that this is one of my best app experiences on Shopify in 5 years! Well done Team Rebuy!

Maria has been an excellent and responsive representative for Rebuy. She has helped us build our widgets around our product categories and recommendations. We meet weekly and she's ready to dive into our to-do's. Thankfully, Maria will also take the time to review our team's widget setup prior to launch to ensure we've setup our widgets correctly.

Rebuy is a truly interesting app that suits varied applications across our website. The AI Agent is phenomenal and suggests helpful CSS. You can pay for customisation from the Launch Team but we also found the general support was above and beyond helpful. Our contact, Lida, was incredible! She was so thorough and proactive and consistent; a real joy to work with. Thank you!

I've been using Rebuy for at least a year now, and I can't say enough about it. It has definitely made a difference for my bottom line, and their activation team and tech team have been incredibly helpful with everytime I want to run a promo or install a new widget. Highly highly recommend!
